AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name...

One of the most flogged excuses by both Palin and her supporters for her resignation as Governor of Alaska was that ethics complaints were "bankrupting" her. But the Independent Council Report issued in conjunction with the decision on her Legal Defense Fund says otherwise. Not only does it show the State of Alaska offered to make payments for her legal costs it shows that even bfore the election the Palin campaign was making alternate plans to not only get the McCain campaign to pay for them but to hit up the Rnc AND set up a legal defense fund. When...

Austin federal judge Sam Sparks dismissed a suit by the Dallas-based Institute of Creation Research, which seeks the right to grant a master’s degree in science from a biblical perspective. And by “dismissed,” we mean the judge tore it apart. But first, a summary of the suit, as reported today by the San Antonio Express-News. The Institute seeks to offer a masters degree that critiques evolution and champions a literal interpretation of the biblical account of creation. Texas’s higher education board nixed the group’s application, because of the proposed program’s creationist slant. This, the Institute contended, was a violation of...

"Even more about McChrystal: now it can be told. The story about him voting for Obama is not contrived. He is a political liberal. He is a social liberal. He banned Fox News from the television sets in his headquarters. Yes, really. This puts to rest another false rumor: that McChrystal deliberately precipitated his firing because he wants to run for President."

Once Again, the Responsibility to Tell the Truth Falls to El Rushbo June 22, 2010 BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, as I said at the top of the program, it seems like it's always left to me to say these things, the obvious that nobody else wants to talk about.Well, certainly nobody in the State-Controlled Media. The dirty little secret that's not really a secret if you have your eyes open: our president is not respected by the commander in Afghanistan. It's patently obvious. But he's also not respected by our allies in the UK, Germany, France, and Israel, among...

EXCERPT "I think the president is doing the best anybody can," said Winfrey, who campaigned for Obama when he ran for president. "I really don't understand what people want him to do? I think he's the president of the United States. "You're not supposed to be emotional, you're supposed to take action and get things done and make sure those things happen so I'm not sure what people want him to do," she said.

Enthusiasts of creationism on the fringes of the American evangelical movement now have the strangest new allies - in a nation that made atheism its state religion. Yes, creationism has now reared its ugly and evolving head in Russia, the heart of the "Godless communism" that prevailed in the Soviet Union. And, as pointed out in a superb blog by Michael Zimmerman in the Huffington Post, the Russian rhetoric sounds strangely familiar. After giving a lecture last week in Moscow, Hilarion Alfeyev, Archbishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, was reported by Reuters saying: "The time has come for the monopoly...

Jim Wallis announced last week his desire to start a “dialogue” on this question: “Just how Christian is the Tea Party Movement—and the Libertarian political philosophy that lies behind it?”Of course, Wallis isn’t suggesting that the movement be judged by whether it is explicitly Christian, but rather, by how it measures up to what Wallis refers to as “biblical ethics.”This is a perfectly reasonable question for a Christian to ask of any political movement. And as it happens, I agree with some of Wallis’s points. Still, Wallis’s attempt at an answer doesn’t inspire confidence that he’s thinking clearly about the...

HBO’s resident Racist and Bigot Bill Maher disrespected all black people with his Stereotypical description of a “Real Black president” According to Maher Barry Hussein Soetoro is not a real black president because he doesn’t use violence to solve his problems, he doesn’t carry a gun hidden in his buggy clothes and he doesn’t cuss out people with whom he has a disagreement with. (see 1:48min video)

Israel Denies US Academic Chomsky West Bank Entry Israel says the denial may be a misunderstanding. Renowned US scholar Noam Chomsky has been denied entry to the West Bank by Israeli immigration officials. Prof Chomsky, renowned for his work on linguistics and philosophy, was planning to deliver a lecture at Birzeit University. Prof Chomsky, 82, had been trying to enter from Jordan. An Israeli interior ministry spokeswoman said it was to trying to clear the matter up and allow Prof Chomsky to enter. Prof Chomsky said the officials were very polite but he was denied entry because "the government did...

Left-wing American linguist Professor Noam Chomsky was denied entry into Israel on Sunday, for reasons that were not immediately clear. Chomsky, who was scheduled to deliver a lecture at Bir Zeit University near Jerusalem, told the Right to Enter activist group by telephone that inspectors had stamped the words "denied entry" onto his passport when he tried to cross from Jordan over Allenby Bridge.

Barack Obama, the Insult Comic President, was up to his old shtick Saturday night. Breaking with presidential punch line tradition for the second consecutive year, Obama dropped zinger after zinger on his opponents and allies alike at the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner. Obama went all Don Rickles on a broad range of topics and individuals: Vice President Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, presidential advisers David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel, the news media, Jay Leno, and Republicans Michael Steele, Scott Brown, John McCain and Sarah Palin. Except for a mild joke pegged to his falling approval ratings,...

Bill Maher on Friday said Barack Obama is a moderate Republican by '70s standards. As the subject on the most recent installment of "Real Time" moved to the retirement of Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, the HBO host actually said that it was the Republican Party that has changed in the past thirty or forty years and not Stevens' view of the world. "You know what's ironic is that you know who's really a moderate Republican by '70s standards?" Maher asked. "Barack Obama." This stupidity came seconds after guest Richard Clarke actually said that the gun rally in Virginia...

Two television networks showcased Cecil B. DeMille’s epic 3 ½ hour The Ten Commandments this Easter: ABC and Canada’s CBC. The 1956 film had no need for our 21st century Computer Generated Imagery to convince us that the Red Sea was indeed parting, and that the “bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed” (Exodus 3:2). I wondered if the networks made this choice because there is really no superlative modern narrative of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection? We have Mel Gibson’s The Passion of Christ, but its gore and blood is too hard to take at Easter. The...

Reading the onslaught of angry denunciations of Burger King by mental health organizations and mainstream media reporters this past week reminded me of a characteristic of the Left not often commented on: a certain joylessness, even an antipathy to the little joys that contribute more than almost anything else to most people's ability to endure the difficulties of life. These characteristics further reinforce the view that Leftism functions as a (secular) religion. Like medieval Christians who wore hair shirts and Puritans who thought dancing was sacrilegious, the Left, consciously or not, is uncomfortable with many of the joys -- with...

Marxist democrats say the darndest things, and I’m not talking about Mr Gaffetastic, Joe “Big F****ing Deal” Biden who is liable to say anything, at anytime. Two words: Impeachment insurance! No…this time I’m talking about a working Marxist communist, Congressman John Dingell, who is absolute proof we need term limits and we need them yesterday. This guy has been a member of the House of Representatives since 1955 and his dad held the seat before that.... .... Rep. John Dingell, Sr.), made an amazing admission during a live telephone interview with Detroit WJR News/Talk 760 radio talk show host Paul...
