ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) - An employee at the Cinnabon location in Ashwaubenon’s Bay Park Square Mall has been fired following a viral video that showed her making offensive comments towards a customer.
The video, posted to TikTok, was recorded on December 5th, according to the video caption. The poster says that she started recording after the employee made a derogatory comment about her hijab. The employee went on to make more comments, including using the N-word and calling herself a racist. The full video can be found here, though viewer discretion is advised for strong and offensive language.
In a comment on a reposting of the video, Cinnabon replied, saying: “We’ve seen the disturbing video from the Cinnabon bakery in Ashwaubenon, WI, and we do not condone this behavior. The former employee was immediately terminated by the franchise owner. Their actions do not reflect our values or the welcoming experience every guest deserves.”

Makes me wish I was a Cinnabon customer, so I could boycott them.
I worked at a mall food court for years and I will tell ya a certain demographic which must not be named on FR certainly made that job heinous.

I agree with your assessment. They must’ve REALLY pushed her, and hard, because ‘Wisconsin Nice’ IS a thing!
However, NO employee needs to be subjected to that. Believe me, with 18 years of Retail Management behind me, I’ve had to calm down a lot of customers and employees - over what was 99.999% of the time the CUSTOMER’S BAD ATTITUDE about Life in General. Jerks.

Africans in the US are accorded rights way above anyone else, even though none of them were ever victims of slavery or Jim Crow or whatever. They weren’t HERE.
So you have 1.5B people on a continent 8000 miles away who all constitute a “victim minority” according to the Supreme Court and the EEOC. If they all show up here, and get offended by someone’s words, do we all get fired and they take over?

Saw it myself at an Academy. The security guard amazingly took massive abuse and remained stern and professional. I was proud of the guy. I’d have shot the thugs.
