A fundraiser from Dial America just called me to regale me with what a noble deserving organization MADD was. She asked me if I thought it was a tragedy that someone was killed evey 30 minutes by a drunk driver, and I told her the statistic was bogus and that the NHTSA was in bed with MADD which is improper since they are funded with tax dollars.
