Hopeful autograph seekers began to wait outside the Bunch of Grapes Bookstore on Main Street in Vineyard Haven Saturday at 5:30 am to secure a number that would guarantee a place in line for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s book signing scheduled to begin at 4 pm. When Mrs. Clinton arrived, the line stretched along Main Street and around the corner up Centre Street.
