VIRGINIA BEACH A former Navy lieutenant commander who was scheduled to be released [1]next month after serving sixteen years for a murder-for-hire plot against his wife in Virginia Beach has died. Michael Fricke, 54, died Thursday of injuries he sustained when he was attacked with a baseball bat by another military prisoner at Fort Leavenworth, a prison spokeswoman confirmed today.
