Free birth control led to dramatically lower rates of abortions and teen births, a large study concludes. The findings were eagerly anticipated and come as a bitterly contested Obama administration policy is poised to offer similar coverage. The project tracked more than 9,000 women in St. Louis, many of them poor or uninsured. They were given their choice of a range of contraceptive methods at no cost — from birth control pills to goof-proof options like the IUD or a matchstick-sized implant.

Fluke has been called a slut. Not only for sleeping herself through law school, but for pimping herself off as some kind of “reproductive rights” expert. But today I received an email from someone who claims to be from Georgetown stating that Sandra Fluke really isn’t who she says she is. That is heterosexual, and that she is in fact gay. I have no idea if the email is real or fake. I don’t care if she’s gay or not. Having family members who are gay I’m not homophobic. The email headers check out and it appears legit. The writer...

What a shock! It was all a BIG PRODUCTION! The Democrat’s token abused college coed is actually a 30 year-old hardcore women’s rights activist. Sandra Fluke is also the past president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. (video) Jammie Wearing Fool reported: "I put that in quotes because in the beginning she was described as a Georgetown law student. It was then revealed that prior to attending Georgetown she was an active women’s right advocate. In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend, and seeing...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: "A Missouri House member frustrated with recent legislative debates over birth control and reproductive health is proposing to restrict vasectomies. Legislation sponsored by Democrat Stacey Newman would allow vasectomies only when necessary to protect a man from serious injury or death." You will not find the name "Rush Limbaugh" anywhere on this legislation. Nor do I know Ms. Newman. I'm not in cahoots with her. In the state of Missouri, a woman "frustrated with recent legislative debates over birth control and reproductive health" has proposed legislation that would deny men the right to have a vasectomy whenever...

I beg all of us here on Free Republic to STOP the dogpiling on Sandra Fluke. No joke. Don't follow Rush's bad example. Name-calling will get us NOWHERE. Remember the much better example of the woman at the well, and how Jesus dealt with her. That's a MUCH better way to behave.

I’m a proud Georgetown woman upset about another Georgetown woman who may have no pride at all. How else do you explain - Ms. Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown Law student, now famous for testimony she never gave – jumping up to talk about her sex life (with the Senate Minority Leader and with the liberal media) and ask for the cost of her sex life to be subsidized by other students at a Jesuit School? Sandra Fluke was declined the privilege (a privilege, not a right) of testifying in front of a Senate Committee on the proposed contraceptive mandate. Her...

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has come under fire after calling a female student who testified at a Congressional hearing on contraception coverage a "prostitute" and a "slut" on his show, but the radio host remains unapologetic for his derogatory comments. Sandra Fluke, a third-year law student at Georgetown University, first came into the national spotlight when Rep. Darrell Issa refused to allow her testimony during a Feb. 16 House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on the contraception mandate included in President Obama's controversial Affordable Care Act of 2010. Issa contended that Fluke's testimony was irrelevant, "as the hearing...

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum labeled Rush Limbaugh "absurd" over disparaging remarks from the radio talk show host directed at a law student who testified before a House panel in support of access to contraceptives. "He's being absurd, but that's you know, an entertainer can be absurd," Santorum told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Friday. "He's in a very different business than I am."
