The Massachusetts man accused of killing his domestic partner on a York beach Friday by striking her on the head with a rock told police that he did not remember the slaying, according to a court affidavit. Jeffrey Buchannan , 33, is charged with intentional or knowing murder in the death of Rhonda Pattelena, 35. MESA, AZ — A Mesa mother was arrested after she allegedly brought her son with her as she committed a home burglary. Mesa police report that on September 15, officers responded to a burglary at a home near Hawes and Broadway roads. Police say a woman, later identified as 30-year-old Brittany Shante Eason, entered the house through an open garage window after leaving her grade school-aged son outside. The woman "was able to physically remove her son from the mountain lion" and the boy's father called 911 as he drove his son to hospital, the sheriff added. Wednesday will be the first event since school was let out which might result in more people being turned away. Effective this year, kids under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian with them. A Gert Town woman is accused of taking a baseball bat to her boyfriend, his car and his eastern New Orleans house Sunday, after New Orleans police said she found the man inside his residence with another woman. Jaylen Griffith, 21, was arrested Sunday after police said they caught her fleeing the attack on the 30-year-old man shortly before 9:30 p.m. in the 7400 block of West Cavelier Drive.
