    The flood disaster focus in Queensland Australia moves to Rockhampton on the Fitzroy River, where I live. The flood peak is expected to arrive on Tuesday, and, now higher than originally expected by more than one metre, will make this the second worst flood disaster on recorded, the worst being in 1918. In a city of 75,000, so far 4,000 homes have been evacuated with many more to come.     Currently in Queensland Australia, there is a significant and major flood event. This is not a localised flood, but one covering most of the Eastern part of a State which is more than double the size of Texas. The flood is centred around Rockhampton where I live, and here I detail some of the effects in our local area and also some in the wider areas to the South and West of here.
