The question in the title is legitimate in light of the extraordinary and unusual letter signed by all members of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff condemning Trump supporters for insurrection and calling on the US military to remain ready for another attempt at sedition on inauguration day. In the Joint Chiefs’ own words: “The violent riot in Washington, DC on January 6, 2021 was a direct assault on the US Congress, the Capitol building, and our Constitutional process.” https://www.rt.com/usa/512334-joint-chiefs-capitol-riot/ There was no riot, no assault on the Capitol, and no insurrection. As the videos show, there was no “storming...

Our Modern Day "Reichstag Fire" The burning of the Reichstag February 27th 1933 was one of many "false flag" operations devised and carried out by The National Socialist Worker's Party (NAZI) regime. This fire occurred four weeks after Adolf Hitler was sworn in as Chancellor of Germany. Yes, there was an election. Hitler won and by 1938 there were nearly 80 million Germans that loved him until millions lay dead and their country was in ruins. All of that is another story. The point of the matter is the NAZIS accomplished several things by setting fire to their parliament building....

With 76% of precincts reporting, the Associated Press called the referendum in favor of the new flag design. It had received 69.6% of the votes at that point. With 92 percent of the precincts in on Wednesday, support for the flag had climbed to 71.6 percent and 726,130 votes. The flag will replace the 1894 design that featured the Confederate emblem after it was removed from display at Government buildings through a June vote by the Mississippi state legislature and a bill signed by...

A contract employee for the U.S. Marshals Service has been suspended from work after posting a burning Black Lives Matter flag on his personal Facebook page. Jeff Carlson, a retired Aberdeen Police Department and school resource officer, was suspended from his contracted position as a security officer at the District of the South Dakota Federal Courthouse. Carlson is employed by Walden Security, a company that provides security services for commercial and government properties. He was suspended after the U.S. Marshals Service was made aware of the “racially-charged social media post,” according to the public affairs office for the federal law...

Trump supporters unfurled what they say is the largest ever flag honoring the president - completely covering the controversial Black Lives Matter mural outside Trump Tower in Manhattan. Dozens of people gathered outside the Fifth Avenue building 3.30pm on Tuesday before they marched toward Times Square as part of a project named 'Operation Flag Drop', which is organized through a Facebook group. The crowd recited the pledge of allegiance and chants such as 'whose streets? our streets' and 'four more years' as they marched the 75ft by 50ft flag reading 'Trump: Law and Order' through New York City.

A "Make America Great Again" flag supporting President Donald Trump was seen flying outside the Long Beach Police Department headquarters this weekend. Long Beach police said the flag was not authorized and are trying to figure out who put it up. The department said it found out about the incident Sunday morning. It is unclear how long the "Make America Great Again" flag had been up. The flag caused some outrage on social media. Long Beach police tweeted out a grainy video of what they say shows someone crossing the street and entering their lot, which is under construction, to...

I crossed the Mason-Dixon line today, driving north on Route 30 from the Baltimore area into Pennsylvania. I drove through farmland, side streets, developments, etc. Not unexpectedly, there were a healthy smattering of Trump signs/flags, but not as many as you would expect in this rural, pro-Trump area. What was striking, however, were the number of American flags that were out in front of houses. A couple of suburban developments south of Hanover had probably one American flag for every 5 houses, and there was probably a Trump sign/flag one to every 12 houses. Weirdly, I saw zero Trump bumper...

“Good morning,” Tom said. “I’ve been thinking about what you said. Our conversation.” Tom and I had met years ago at a college camp though he likely hadn’t remembered. He was a coach from an elite college and my older child attended his sports camp. We knew a lot of the same pros and players. And now, both of our younger children were in competitions together. This particular weekend we were settling in on a beautiful crisp morning near the water, the breeze cool on the skin. Tom came over soon after I arrived, because he wanted to share something...

The story is at first aggravating to hear but the more we learn about it the better the outlook for this country becomes. A pair of high school football players in Morrow, Ohio, ran out on the field before a game holding a Blue Lives Matter and Red Lives Matter flag. They were later suspended over the display, for introducing a political message to the game. It was a sign of pregame social signaling, and as we have come to learn there is a glaring set of double standards on such issues. For years we have been lectured that Colin...

It was all over the web in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US this weekend, the grocery store chain Food Lion paid for an immense amount of social media ads after they experience immense backlash. “Food Lion deeply respects the American flag,” the company said in a statement posted on Twitter. “We listened to our associates and customers about our uniform policy. We require that associates wear masks without writing, insignia or symbols. We will allow associates to wear masks with the American flag that meet this standard.”

By law, the new flag cannot include the Confederate battle flag, and it must have the phrase, “In God We Trust.” The public submitted nearly 3,000 designs. The flower is encircled by stars representing Mississippi as the 20th state. It also has a single star made of diamond shapes representing the Native American people who lived on the land before others arrived.

Mississippi has unveiled a new state flag design that will be put to a public vote in November, after the old banner was retired because it included the Confederate battle emblem. The new flag features a magnolia flower, and was the result of a two-month challenge to find a replacement, which saw 3,000 suggestions submitted by the public. The old flag was officially retired on June 30.

A Rathdrum couple said their American and Gadsden flags were cut from a 25-foot flagpole in front of their home in a senior community. Dale and Paula Atwood have proudly flown the flags on their property for 13 years. They were shocked to find the rope cleanly cut in two places Friday morning. The Gadsden flag, famous for its "Don't Tread on Me!" quote and rattlesnake symbol, is rooted in the Revolutionary War against Great Britain. According to Atwood, the Gadsden flag has long been a symbol of civil liberties, American patriotism, and disagreement with the government. "I think people...

I saw this meme on DU (didn't want to link it and give them clicks) but I suspect it's been around a while. Was wondering....could someone get a similar meme going (I'm tech illiterate) that says 'America, choose your flag' with the antifa flag and the American flag?

Massachusetts senators unanimously agreed Tuesday that a panel should suggest a new state seal to replace the 122-year-old version that Native Americans largely view as symbolizing white supremacist violence. The Senate voted 39-0 to approve a Sen. Jason Lewis resolve forming a special commission tasked with designing a new seal and state motto and with studying ways that the existing version, which depicts a Native man standing beneath a disembodied arm and sword, "may be unwittingly harmful to or misunderstood by the citizens of the commonwealth."

A couple in St. John’s, Michigan recently took down the red, white and blue flag of Norway displayed on the porch of their bed and breakfast after receiving continuous complaints by ignorant liberals who accused the couple of flying the Confederate battle flag. The Nordic Pineapple, run out of a mansion built in 1861 by a Union general, was started two years ago by Greg and Kjersten Offenbecker. The couple flew the flag of Norway from a pillar opposite the American flag to honor Kjersten’s Norwegian heritage (her grandfather immigrated from Norway.) Both the U.S. and Norway flags were taken...

STEPHON TUITT Prediction: Lots and lots of his teammates will have a problem with it. Remember what happened when Alejandro Villanueva simply got caught in the open during the anthem three years ago? His Pittsburgh Steeler teammates threw him under the bus for not getting out of sight, and after a brief spike in Villanueva jersey sales, the lineman ended up issuing a public apology.Stephon Tuitt has decided to dispense with the whole apology approach up front. In fact, Tuitt invites anyone who objects to perform an unnatural act on themselves: Also I’m not kneeling for the flag and screw...

A top FDNY official says it’s “most definitely” acceptable to exclude a white firefighter from a ceremonial unit based solely on his skin color... Cecilia Loving, the department’s chief diversity and inclusion officer, is defending a decision to kick Lt. Daniel McWilliams — one of three firefighters in the iconic 9/11 Ground Zero flag-raising photo — off a color-guard procession so it would be all-black. Loving testified at a state Divsion of Human Rights trial on McWilliam’s complaint that he was the victim of racial bias. When McWilliams showed up at a 2017 memorial mass to honor deceased members of...
