This morning when I woke up and found that CNN & the rest of the media is still all in on Donald Trump, they featured a hispanic former pageant contestant to hit Trump over his comments concerning illegal immigration.

The presidential hopeful branded U.S. border controls an 'absolute disgrace' in light of the revelation that Francisco Sanchez, 45, had already been deported five times - and was recently released from jail by officials who routinely refuse requests to hand over illegal immigrants. Sanchez is accused of gunning down Kathryn Steinle, 32, as she walked along Pier 14 with her father on Thursday evening. According to the victim's family, the attack was entirely at random.

It’s bad enough that this beautiful young woman had her life taken from her Wednesday night, just snubbed out in what is being called a random shooting. But what make this worse is that it was done by an illegal from Mexico who had been deported at least five times and had a lengthy criminal record.

Kathryn Steinle had just sent her mother a quintessential San Francisco picture — a photo of her, her father and a family friend on the scenic waterfront of the Embarcadero. But five minutes later, with her father’s arm around her shoulder, the 32-year-old Pleasanton native suddenly collapsed on Pier 14 just south of the Ferry Building. It was 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, and she had been struck in the chest by a bullet.

Ferry Building merchants and managers are fed up with the mayhem that has come with the nearby Occupy SF encampment. SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco construction worker accused of making false threats to blow up the Golden Gate Bridge, the Ferry Building and an Amtrak station has surrendered to federal officials. Timothy S. Sullivan used his cell phone to call 911 four times on March 10, saying that bombs would explode in the specified locations.
