My OE server times out when "receiving list of messages from server". I have upped the server timeout to 5 minutes and made a rule telling OE not to download any big emails. I've been through the whole troubleshooting section on OE help. I ran a virus scan, none detected. Any other suggestions? Besides buying a mac? ;-) (I've had a mac and didn't like it - and the modem blew, which supposedly never happens on a mac) Thanks!

I'm reading Ann Coulter's Treason, and my curiosity has been piqued by the Verona Transcripts. I've read that only a tiny percentage of them were decoded. Is there any ongoing effort to decode them? Why haven't the full text of the messages come from the KGB archives opened after the fall of the USSR?

Someone told me that the USA has the least amount of taxes of any FREE nation. (in other words, we don't tax enough to have the benefits for our citizens) I find this hard to believe, but don't know how to dispute this. Does anyone have any info comparing USA taxes to other Free nations?

I have received two or three Freepmails from trolls since I have been on FR. I consider it an honor that I could so infuriate one to the point of personally attacking me in the Freepmail. I wanted to ask if anyone else has received any troll mails.

The Dims whine about our not having found WMDs - while we haven't found Saddam, does that mean he doesn't(didn't) exist? The other day I attempted to post an article by Dr. Bruce Cornet that was simply an update to the Yellowstone Volcanic activity. The article was rejected by Free Republic with a message basically reading that articles from rense.com were unwelcome on Free Republic. Why? Now I'll be the first to acknowledge that there's some weird stuff on Rense that's inappropriate for posting on FR. The article about the volcano, however, was informative and timely. So my question is why is the poster not given credit for being able to discern what is appropriate for FR and what is not....
