Recently, I actually had someone ask me "What do conservatives believe?" After answering his question, it occurred to me that there are probably a lot of people out there, who are new to politics, who are wondering, "What do conservatives believe? Why do we take the positions we do? Are liberals right in the way that they describe our motivations or is something else at work?" Therefore, I decided to answer "20 frequently asked questions about conservatism". But, before I get into this, I do have some caveats for you. First of all, every conservative doesn't have exactly the same...

I suspect I have some sort of hijack software that has change the way my searches on Google come up. Until very recently google searcehs were quick and I would get responses as normal. Now it seems to freeze for a few seconds and the first page of responses are links to other ad or search services. Example for a google search for 'test' I get this on the 1st page: 100% Free Certifications and Elearning Certy.com offers Free certifications/tests in HTML, Java, ASP, C#, Project Management, English, XML, EJB Diabetics! Health Break Through! At last..there's hope for Diabetes sufferers....

Health officials are investigating another four suspected cases of SARS in China. The cases bring the total number affected to eight, with more expected. All of the cases can be traced to a laboratory at the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, China, where the coronavirus that causes SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) was being studied. The first person to fall ill, on 25 March, was a 26-year-old female researcher who had worked in the lab.

Within the last couple of days, when I goto WWW.FREEREPUBLIC.COM, it takes me to Front Page News instead of the home page. Now I have to goto WWW.FREEREPUBLIC.COM/HOME.HTM to get to the home page. It is doing this on 3 different PC's at home and work. Does anyone know what is happening? I looked at my profile/account to see if there was some setting there that could be redirecting me there. Thanks in advance...

I read something yesterday about the 50th anniversary of Burger King. Anyway, I got to thinking about the BEST burgers I've ever eaten (not Whoppers) and several came to mind including the great IN'N'Out cheeseburgers. However, in my opinion NO hamburger can compete in greatness with the UNBELIEVABLE Tommy's chili cheeseburgers served in the L.A. area. They come cover with chili and chili peppers. Add to that large tomatos and of course great meat and that burger has NO competition. Any of you who have ever eaten Tommy's Burgers know that are absolutely the best. My mouth is watering for...
