Amazing...the Mitt Romny anti-Trump tirade, delivered yesteday morning had little mention or notice by either the moderators or candidates at last night's Fox News Channel Debate. It appears the failed Mitt Romney has little or no audience in his corner. I think I saw him riding horses with CNN's Candy Crowley into last evening's setting sunset. Keep riding, Mitt in the GOP Establishment cessppol of lie tellers and losers.

The United States spends more than other developed nations on its students' education each year, with parents and private foundations picking up more of the costs. Despite the spending, U.S. students still trail their rivals on international tests. The United States spent more than $11,000 per elementary student in 2010 and more than $12,000 per high school student. When researchers factored in the cost for programs after high school education such as college or vocational training, the United States spent $15,171 on each young person in the system — more than any other nation covered in the report.

Islamist supporters of Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi will rally in Cairo on Friday in a show of approval for him to upstage opposition protests planned to mark his first year in office at the end of the month. "There are numerous saboteur forces which aim to bring down the state," said Khaled al-Sherif of the political wing of al-Gamaa al-Islamiya, a once armed Salafist group that backs Mursi. In a speech on Tuesday, [US Ambassador] Anne Patterson responded to "conspiracy theories" among disappointed liberals that Washington secretly backed a Brotherhood takeover of Egypt. "This is the government that you and...

Road Show Go ahead and send the aid, but don’t pretend it’s for development. By Mike Lynch U2 frontman Bono and Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill are on an African poverty safari that teaches many things, chief among them that publicity stunts still work. Not since John McCain’s days on the campaign bus has there been such a media swoon. The Odd Couple comparisons, the starched shirt vs. blue wrap-around sunglasses, are tired. But the most grating aspect is the dominant media frame through which it is being covered: that this is a traveling development aid seminar in which Professor Bono...
