Wishing all of you a blessed and reverent Holy Week! As is well known, the week leading up to Easter is the most sacred part of the calendar for Christians. While different denominations celebrate the holiday at different times, in 2006 many Christians, including Catholics, began Holy Week this past Sunday. It is supposed to be a time of repentance, prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and meditating upon the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
