Merrick Garland recently warned the nation’s courts that they would be sending “thousands” of additional cases involving people who were allegedly part of the January 6 riot at the Capitol building. The editor-in-chief of the Jewish Press, a Jewish newspaper based in Brooklyn that serves a primarily Orthodox audience, was identified as one of the protesters who breached the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
