Ed Morrissey wrote about the mass shooting on a Brooklyn subway this morning. Even this morning there were reports that the suspect was a black male around 5’5″ and 180 pounds. Now CNN is reporting the suspect has been identified thanks to a credit card he left behind.A credit card used to rent a U-Haul cargo van helped investigators in New York quickly identify the suspect who opened fire on a Brooklyn subway, two law enforcement sources told CNN Tuesday. The shooter, who fled the scene, was described as a 5-foot-5-inch Black man with a heavy build wearing a green construction...

Education system and our political institutions have turned our children into enemies of the state We have become a nation of angry people. Too many of us carry a chip on our shoulder and find racism everywhere, sexism everywhere, misogyny rampant, homophobia out of control. It is no wonder we have masked leftists lashing out with violence, a new congresswoman making profanity-laced speeches demanding President Trump’s impeachment. We now have a Democrat majority House of Representatives with scores of avowed communists in their ranks who are in no mood to cooperate with the system as founded, but to overturn it....

College students who cheated on a simple task were more likely to want government jobs, researchers from Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania found in a study of hundreds of students in Bangalore, India. Their results, recently released as a working paper by the National Bureau of Economic Research, suggest that one of the contributing forces behind government corruption could be who gets into government work in the first place. For instance, “if people have the view that jobs in government are corrupt, people who are honest might not want to get into that system,” said Rema Hanna, an...

David Hackett Souter & Contra-education by Ann Barnhardt - September 19, AD 2012 - Snip - but this clip, via ZeroHedge, is worth your time. Retired Justice Souter holds forth on the ignorance of the population, and even cites 1970 as the beginning of the destruction of the education system, and thus the Republic itself. Imagine that. - Snip - Where I disagree with Souter is the notion that a mere lack of civics knowledge is the "number one problem." - - Snip - The "number one problem" is godlessness, of which ignorance is a derivative. Because godless Marxist-Communists infiltrated...

Former NH school superintendent Mark Joyce doesn't like the questions about the publicly funded salary he received before becoming an agitator for tax hikes. But Cathy Silber from the Granite State Fair Tax Association does a better job verbally jousting.

While I don't agree with the rhetoric used in this video I agree with every argument made. Education should not be run by the gov. via our tax dollars. Private schools do it better and instill Christian and American values in children unlike the liberal left gov. schools. Not sure if I agree w/ getting rid of libraries but my taxes are killing me. Discussion anyone?

Two teen murderers from New Hampshire were NOT expelled from their high school despite murdering a woman last year. The school system in the state is looking into whether or not they are permitted to expel students for something like this. Have to ask why a school would even be debating this. I thought New Hampshire was a "live free or die" state. Is this what the education system has come to?

When we were in junior high school, my friend Rich and I made a map of the school lunch tables according to popularity. This was easy to do, because kids only ate lunch with others of about the same popularity. We graded them from A to E. A tables were full of football players and cheerleaders and so on. E tables contained the kids with mild cases of Down's Syndrome, what in the language of the time we called "retards." We sat at a D table, as low as you could get without looking physically different. We were not being...
