“They prevented people from being cured by their family physician at home, with early treatment.”Italy’s Regional Administrative Court has ruled that their “Paracetamol [Tylenol] and watchful waiting” policy violates the rights of patients to receive meaningful medical treatment. As a result, doctors no longer have to follow the Health Ministers’ stringent and dangerous guidelines and treat patients in the way they see fit. Lawyer and Politician Andrea Delmastro from the conservative Fratelli d’Italia (Brothers of Italy) party celebrated the court’s ruling and condemned Roberto Speranza, the controversial Health Minister’s Covid prescription,Do you recall Health Minister Speranza’s awkward prescription? Even a...

Sen. Rand Paul pinned blame for thousands of monthly coronavirus deaths on Dr. Anthony Fauci over his bias toward vaccines. "I would venture to say that thousands of people die in our country every month now from COVID because [Fauci’s] deemphasized the idea that there are therapeutics," Paul, who is also a physician, said in an interview on the Ron Paul Liberty Report published Monday. Paul explained that Fauci has a long history of a "bias" toward vaccines, stretching back to his work on AIDS. "I think Fauci is of the philosophy that vaccines are incredibly successful and are the...

U.S. health regulators on Wednesday authorized the first pill against COVID-19, a Pfizer drug that Americans will be able to take at home to head off the worst effects of the virus. The oral drug, Paxlovid, is a faster, cheaper way to treat early COVID-19 infections, though initial supplies will be extremely limited. All of the previously authorized drugs against the disease require an IV or an injection. An antiviral pill from Merck also is expected to soon win authorization. But Pfizer's drug is all but certain to be the preferred option because of its mild side effects and superior...

Gov. Ron DeSantis declared he is “committed” to ensuring new COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatment will be administered to vulnerable Floridians. The long-acting AstraZeneca therapy known as Evusheld will be available to moderately to severely immunocompromised people like cancer patients, he said. “We are committed to doing the monoclonal,” DeSantis said Friday during a news conference, according to ABC affiliate Local 10. “We will make sure the dose sites are available.” The Sunshine State has just 3,100 doses of the antibody drug, favored by opponents COVID-19 vaccines, which will be given to the state’s hospitals and clinics that are performing such...

Early in the pandemic it was pretty obvious to a lot of doctors that ivermectin seemingly worked. The issue is that there were no well controlled studies and lack of a solid protocol in clinical management. In places like Central and South America Doctors didn’t have time to do controlled studies; they simply prescribed it to all the patients as a triage to stem the overflowing hospital corridors. For many it seemingly worked because they got the drug early in the disease. When there were calls for a clinical trial, there was no control group that hadn’t already been given...

Last week, the World Tribune published an article revealing information that indicates the WHO likely knew ivermectin was effective for months, but blocked its use, all for Big Pharma. Dr. Andrew Hill, a senior visiting research fellow in pharmacology at Liverpool University, adviser to the Gates Foundation, and researcher for the WHO, was tasked with conducting an ivermectin trial for the WHO. Based on his preliminary findings, Hill testified enthusiastically about the use of ivermectin before the NIH COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel on Jan. 6, 2021. But then he suddenly changed course and published a study dinging the drug’s efficacy...

On Saturday, Nov. 6, a group of doctors held a seminar in Ocala, Fla. The seminar qualified attendees for Continuing Medical Education credits. Speakers included an expert in epidemiology who explained the mechanisms of viral replication in human cells, a researcher who invented a promising new method of vaccination, and clinicians describing modes of treatment. If that were the entire story, it would hardly bear mentioning. But this was no ordinary medical conference. Dr. John Littell, the organizer of the conference, brought together some of the most prominent doctors on the front lines of fighting and treating COVID-19. In fact, he...

An Illinois hospital defied an emergency court order over the weekend, refusing to allow an unvaccinated outside physician to give the cheap drug ivermectin to a COVID-19 patient who was dying while being treated with expensive remdesivir, before finally relenting after being scolded by a judge. Some other hospitals have been ordered by courts to allow the drug to be used. The legal fight in the Illinois state court system comes as studies continue on the effectiveness of ivermectin in treating COVID-19. The costly drug remdesivir has been given emergency use authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for...

Dr. Harvey Risch appeared on Life, Liberty, and Levin Sunday night and provided information that the health bureaucracy doesn’t want Americans to hear. Risch is a Yale epidemiologist who has published more than 300 original research papers cited over 40,000 times on Google Scholar. He has also served on the leadership staff of several prominent journals.During his appearance, he discussed early treatment and vaccinating children. Since early in the pandemic, Risch has been frustrated that the health bureaucracy won’t embrace any treatments. He wrote a paper advocating for the use of hydroxychloroquine after performing a meta-analysis of the available studies....

Whether it be treatments or interventions, the plethora of seemingly similar quality research supporting contradictory positions, and the use of digital echo chambers, facilitates widespread confirmation bias - evidence supporting any initial position can be easily found. Self-serving bias and cognitive dissonance further make it challenging to alter positions, especially for those taking very public and strong positions with serious implications. We felt that attempts to organize and make the research and data easier to navigate, highlighting areas of applicability, and analyzing limitations, could potentially be beneficial.

As one writer observes, Until now, Corona policy in every western country has unfolded more or less according to the same script, devised by the World Health Organization at the end of February 2020. The final act was supposed to be the wide-scale eradication of Corona after mass vaccination. It is now clear that this will never happen. For the first time since March 2020, there is no obvious international consensus on the way forward. The global political and health managers of Western nations and their media allies increasingly seem uncertain as to where to go next. Lurking behind the uncertainty...
