Florida investigators have rejected a former health department employee’s claim that she was fired for refusing to doctor COVID stats to benefit Gov. Ron DeSantis. The Florida Department of Health’s Office of Inspector General found “insufficient” or no evidence that data scientist Rebekah Jones was told to manipulate or misrepresent pandemic numbers, NBC reported.

The Drudge Report posed an important question today: "Read or Fake?", referring to the recent photo of Castro holding a copy of a current Cuban newspaper. I decided to find out since the link to the article didn't answer the question. I saved the photo and ran it through my well-trained Photoshop eye. Upon initial review, the photo appears legitimate. However, after zooming in 400% on the photo, the truth is revealed - the photo is a fake.

Reuters, the news and pictures agency, yesterday demanded an explanation from the Daily Mail as to why it doctored pictures of Michael Jackson. The Mail merged two Reuters pictures of Jackson taking his children for a walk in a Berlin zoo with veils over their faces. The paper also airbrushed out Jackson's security personnel, making the singer appear a more lonely figure. It superimposed the headline "Is he fit to be a dad?".
