Why do we keep electing extremists in the primaries? Obama is 100 percent liberal and McCain and Romney are 100 percent conservative. Most Americans are near 50/50. I'm hoping in 2016 moderates instead of extremists are nominated. People can't just be divided up into liberal and conservative. Most are in between. One person might be pro life but pro gay marriage. Another might be anti gun but anti tax. Very very very few are liberal or conservative on everything yet most elected officials are. Why?
