When we look back in time, 2020 will not be remembered for many good things. Most notably, a worldwide pandemic and the shutting down of society that came with it, and the worldwide protests that followed the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. There will always be professional protesters, but in the case of Floyd's death, the rush to virtue signal made otherwise rational people do irrational things. Even law enforcement officers hurried to "take a knee" in supposed solidarity with protesters. But now, some of those law enforcement officers are crying foul and want to give the "real" explanation...

In 2015, the City of Los Angeles announced an ambitious plan (led by the person we then referred to as Mayor Yogapants) to completely eliminate traffic deaths by 2025. It was a vision: Vision Zero, they called it. Ten years later, traffic deaths in Los Angeles have doubled. A wonderfully progressive local government announced a plan to eliminate something, so we got much more of that thing. A community group, @peoplesvisionzero, is now trying to carry out some version of the failed plan with guerilla traffic engineering, sneaking new safety infrastructure into place without city permission. Recent result: In similar...

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill) railed against the Department of Transportation (DOT) proposal to give $10,000 bonuses to only the air traffic controllers and FAA technicians who worked everyday without pay during the government shutdown. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has announced a similar bonus for TSA screeners who worked all of their assigned shifts during the government shutdown. "It's not fair to the thousands of other government employees who for one reason or another opted not to work without pay," Duckworth complained. "The problem with these selective bonuses is that it weakens the solidarity that labor unions need...

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) gave the very strong impression that she had personally viewed a classified video of a suspected narco-terrorist drug boat involved in an alleged “double tap” strike during an interview with CNN.Actually, she did more than give the impression. She flat-out claimed she watched the video. With her own eyes.Duckworth described it as “deeply disturbing” during an appearance on CNN's “State of the Union” Sunday, accusing War Secretary Pete Hegseth of committing “essentially murder” and a potential war crime. When host Dana Bash asked her if she had viewed the video, she did not waver.“I have seen the...

Democratic Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, the ranking member on the Senate's aviation subcommittee, is demanding the Transportation Department expand its $10,000 bonus to all air traffic controllers and FAA technicians who worked without pay during the government shutdown. The department said it would give the bonuses only to those who did not miss a day of work during the 44-day shutdown. "Excluding 96 percent of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Air Traffic Controller and Technician workforce from this bonus is unfair, divisive and disrespectful to the over 20,000 dedicated Federal employees who worked under extremely stressful conditions to ensure...

A staff member from Senator Tammy Duckworth’s office allegedly signs official documents while falsely claiming to be the attorney representing an illegal immigrant (Credit: ICE) A staffer for Democrat Senator Tammy Duckworth was caught posing as a lawyer to help free an illegal immigrant from ICE custody in East St. Louis, Illinois. Sen. Tammy Duckworth, an Illinois Democrat, said Sunday that President Trump "essentially just declared war on a major city in his own nation" referring to his recent remarks about Chicago. But she outlined that "we don't have any indications" that the administration is getting ready to send troops into the nation's third-largest city, despite signals in recent weeks that he is preparing to do so. "This is not normal," Duckworth said of Mr. Trump's statements on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan." "This is not acceptable behavior." In a Truth Social post on Saturday, Mr. Trump shared a screenshot that...

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that President-elect Donald Trump was “putting on a reality TV show for his MAGA base” with his cabinet nominations. Host Nicolle Wallace said, “Why is Pete Hegseth, who seems like a capable news anchor, but why is he this cause now with all of the baggage that has been revealed that we know from reports? He did not disclose to Donald Trump. Why do you think Trump and his allies are digging in and pressuring someone like Senator Joni Ernst to confirm him?”

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to lead the intelligence community, was “compromised.” Host Dana Bash said, “Let’s turn to former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who the president elect tapped to serve as Director of National Intelligence. She’s a critic of U.S. intelligence operations. She has promoted Russian propaganda. Your fellow Democrat, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, called her, ‘likely a Russian asset.’ Now, you and Tulsi Gabbard are both veterans. You served with her in the House what do you think of her?”

On Thursday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) said that Mike Huckabee, President-Elect Donald Trump’s nominee to be the U.S. ambassador to Israel, “has been making statements that [seem] to back up Netanyahu” and Netanyahu “has committed some war crimes with some of the actions that he’s taken in Gaza.” “And I just don’t think that Mike Huckabee is going to be someone who is going to hold Netanyahu to account. And that’s a pretty scary thought.” Duckworth said, “I do think that Mike Huckabee is someone that, when we bring him before the committee, we should...

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Republicans have put the “rights of a fertilized egg over” the rights of women in America. Partial transcript as follows: MARTHA RADDATZ: What was your reaction when you saw the Supreme Court decision in Alabama? DUCKWORTH: Not at all surprised, unfortunately. I have been talking about this in 2018 when it was very clear that Republicans were working to eliminate women’s reproductive rights. I said if Neil Gorsuch gets put on the Supreme Court, if Amy Coney Barrett gets put on the Supreme Court, we’re going to have an...

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) told CBS News in an interview on Tuesday that she believed Republican lawmakers were continuing to put the well-being of the National Rifle Association (NRA) over Americans and their families. Duckworth said, “We can right now today pass universal background checks. We could pass a ban on assault weapon ban. We could pass a ban on high-capacity magazines. Those last two things are the common denominators involved in mass shootings in this country.”

Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) and Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) have seen their leads shrink in Illinois, though both are still expected to prevail in their respective races, according to a new poll. An Emerson College Polling-WGN-TV-The Hill survey released on Wednesday showed 50 percent of very likely voters voting for Pritzker, compared to 41 percent for Republican Darren Bailey. The same poll had Pritzker in a much wider lead ahead of Bailey last month at 51 percent and 36 percent, respectively.

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) pushed for restoring the ban on assault weapons and banning high-capacity magazines by claiming that if the school shooter in Uvalde, TX “didn’t have two AR-15s, but had a single handgun because he couldn’t get his hands on two assault weapons at the age of 18,” “then we wouldn’t have the high death rates” in the shooting that we do.

I am going to prove that Durbin, Duckworth, Pritzker, and Beetlejuice were all selected and not elected. They are all frauds. Every person in Illinois knows this, I am focused on proving it beyond a reasonable doubt. These corrupt souls need to be removed permanently. The first county of Illinois that I did a deep dive on with over 100,000 people has over 20,000 suspect registrations or possible phantom voters. My initial estimate of 7 to 10% of all registrations in IL being fraudulent appears to be too conservative. I estimate that upwards of 22% of the registration files of...

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that Republicans “would rather defend traitors and spread lies” than defending democracy because they sided with former President Donald Trump over what she deemed to be “truth.” Duckworth said, “I’m not surprised that Republican leaders in both the House and the Senate are looking to block the bipartisan commission to look into what happened that day. I mean is bipartisan. Republicans had input into it. I hope they listen to Officer Sicknick’s mom. I really really do, but I would not be surprised if they don’t.”

Monday, Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) discussed her recent push for more Asian representation in the White House after President Joe Biden vowed to create the “most diverse cabinet” in American history. Duckworth, who recently contested the Biden administration’s white cabinet appointees in the name of more “diversity,” said she was told by the White House that since Vice President Kamala Harris represents the Asian-American community, there is not a need for “any other Asians in the cabinet.” She went on to say the issue was worked out with the administration, and she is “pleased” there is now someone to help...

Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D) is promoting an “Assault Weapons” ban and suggesting that she is doing so in order that her daughters can grow up in a country that will “protect them.” Duckworth suggested that “Congress has a duty to act” on gun control and responded to Congressional refusal to pass more gun laws by saying, “enough is enough.”

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) said Friday on CNN’s “Newsroom” that President Donald Trump uses the military for his ego and does not understand their sacrifice while reacting to The Atlantic article claiming the president said Americans who died in war were “losers” and “suckers.” Duckworth said, “We all know this is exactly Donald Trump. This is who he is. People know the story is accurate because he’s consistently said these things over the years and continues to act in a way where he likes to use the military for his own personal ego as if we were some sort of...
