Poe: "They are leftists, dedicated to overthrowing our Constitutional system," and "they will go to any length to conceal their radicalism from the public." Understanding the Alinsky Method of "Community Organizing" Written by Bob Dill Sep 24, 2008 at 12:00 AM Meet the Real Obama and Cult of Alinsky " The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." (Ecclesiastes 1:9 KJV) It is becoming readily apparent that the "change" being proposed vaguely by Sen. Barack Obama is...

ORGANIZING TACTICS Alinsky has a very simple method for preparing your people tactically. He advises that you go into little battles you can win first, in order to build up your people's confidence. He advises that later you make alliances that get you bigger battles. In fact, this is very much akin to what he talks about in the training of your people. His primary tactic is to get into action to stoke the brush fires, to get your organization alive, and keep it alive. Again he says everything is in the action — the organizer must use his imagination...

Compassionate fascism is just as anti-liberty as the other kind Perhaps you wonder how society's self-appointed hall monitors got the right to make you feel bad about the fries on your plate or the cigarette you're smoking, or outlaw listening to iPods while crossing the street. If so, you may also be fed up with being nagged about recycling, and be wondering why just because you don't think we're all responsible for global warming, you have been designated a pariah through that infelicitous phrase -- climate-change denier. You know what that's supposed to sound like. Worse, some of your accusers...

What's the essential difference between the two remaining candidates battling it out for the Democratic presidential nomination? It's the difference between high popalorum and low popahirum. Never heard of those two commodities? Let the late great Huey Pierce Long Jr. of Louisiana, a state whose principal crops long have included cotton, rice and buncombe, explain. Back in his heyday, namely the 1930s, he would tell the story about a traveling salesman who offered two varieties of patent medicine: One bottle was labeled High Popalorum, which the salesman would explain was taken from the bark of a tree from the top...

WASHINGTON - The nine justices in black robes file into the Supreme Court consumed with thoughts about the great legal issues of the day. Only one of them is likely to ask questions involving raccoons, an unruly son, pet oysters or even the dreaded "tomato children." When Justice Stephen Breyer leans toward his microphone at the end of the bench, lawyers can expect to be asked almost anything. The 69-year-old Breyer is the court's most frequent practitioner of the hypothetical question, a conjurer of images that are unusual and occasionally bizarre. "The last time I was up there arguing, it...

by Richard Lawrence Poe Friday, February 29, 2008 ArchivesPermanent Link I ADDRESS this column to that new breed of conservative, the Hillarycon. These are conservatives who support Hillary Clinton. Below I describe the three types of Hillarycon and explain why each is wrong. TYPE 1: The Innocent Hillarycon The first type is the most well-meaning, but possibly the most deluded. Innocent Hillarycons view Hillary as a weaker candidate than Obama, and thus seek to help Hillary win the nomination. They are wrong. Hillary's weakness is an illusion. She is playing rope-a-dope with Obama. By hanging on the ropes, and...

After reading a few threads here recently about the Delphi Technique, and watching the youtube interview with Charlotte Iserbyt, I connected a couple of things in a way I hadn't looked at them before. I should also mention I have created a detailed presentation of Education in America from the beginning to now, from a biblical christian worldview (ie I call a spade a spade). In any case it got me thinking about why liberals never give up (compared to conservatives who just don't seem to fight with the same zeal.) What's behind the differences? And there are several reasons....

WASHINGTON - Saying they share a moral purpose, a group of evangelicals and scientists said Wednesday they will work together to convince the nation's leaders that global warming is real. The Rev. Rich Cizik, public policy director for the National Association of Evangelicals, and Nobel-laureate Eric Chivian, director of the Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard Medical School, were among 28 signers of a statement that demands urgent changes in values, lifestyles and public policies to avert disastrous changes in climate. "God will judge us for destroying the Creation. Therefore, we as evangelicals have a responsibility to...

The Delphi Technique and consensus building are both founded in the same principle - the Hegelian dialectic of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis, with synthesis becoming the new thesis. The goal is a continual evolution to "oneness of mind" (consensus means solidarity of belief) -the collective mind, the wholistic society, the wholistic earth, etc. In thesis and antithesis, opinions or views are presented on a subject to establish views and opposing views. In synthesis, opposites are brought together to form the new thesis. All participants in the process are then to accept ownership of the new thesis and support it, changing...

When Homosexuals Take Over A Church by Bill Fishburne WTZY Radio co-host Five years ago I took my family out of one local church and began a search for a new church home. The experience was difficult. This is the story of that time in my life. I want to tell you why we left, what we lost, and what we found. First of all, I want you to know we were involved at this church, not just attendees. I had been on the Vestry and had been Junior Warden. I had been the church Treasurer, and at the time...

Educators across Tulsa County are joining a massive effort to get Tulsa talking about education. They're looking for 10,000 volunteers from all over the county to come up with some ideas to make education better. News on 6 reporter Ashli Sims says Tulsa Talks is unprecedented in its size and scope. And the nation is watching. If you have an opinion about how area schools are run, Tulsa Talks wants you. "We ask our fellow citizens to get involved." Carol McGowen with Tulsa Talks says the project is basically a conversation about education. It's based on a national model called...

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICLE IS TO INSTRUCT FELLOW FREEPERS ON HOW TO CONTROL AND INFLUENCE LIBERAL MEETINGS. The election is upon us. Lets get into the various election groups undercover, and employ these techniques in order to win. Lynn Stulter -- The Delphi Technique was originally conceived as a way to obtain the opinion of experts without necessarily bringing them together face to face. In Educating for the New World Order by Bev Eakman, the reader finds reference upon reference for the need to preserve the illusion that there is "Lay, or community, participation in the decision-making process, while...

Having begun on August 26 and continuing on through September 4, the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in Johannesburg, South Africa is what may be the largest confab the United Nations has ever sponsored. WSSD commemorates the ten-year anniversary of the adoption of Agenda 21 at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil back in 1992. Over 100 world leaders, thousands of delegates, CEOs, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other dignitaries and elites – over 20,000 people in all – have descended on the Sandton Convention Center in South Africa’s largest city. Moreover, as WSSD has approached...

Public education in America is a mess. No amount of money or fixing is going to turn it around. Humanists, cultural Marxists, the psychologically oriented social engineers and gurus are in charge. Those who seek to deconstruct America, its values, its institutions and its history, as well as its future as a sovereign state, are running the show called American public education. The Intellectual 'Gods' of the American Educational WastelandIn order to achieve a temporary teaching certificate back in the late '80s, I experienced what nearly every teacher in the U.S. today has to learn or absorb. Included in my...

What is happening to American institutions requires both art and science. From its churches to its educational system, from the government and political party system to the military, an invasive form of totalitarian groupthink has been artfully and successfully applied to those institutions. Most artistic endeavors require technique of some sort. Even developing an irrational system results in an irrational populace that no longer depends on absolutes or basics or standards. That is true in everything from math and science to literature and government to personal behavior. That is why our U.S. Constitution is now "flexible." With no absolutes, it...

G'day, Arrived in Hinton about 5:00 pm. Met the Sisters of the River, a bunch of local folk, and Tom DeWeese of the American Policy Center at a local restaurant to discuss the proposed New River Scenic Parkway and how to crash the meeting of the New River Highway Authority (held at 7:00 pm). Mr. DeWeese gave a good summary talk about the links to the UN, Agenda 21, Convention on Biological Diversity, Smart Growth, etc. I covered freerepublic.com, our history of activism, the D.C. Chapter, and how to effectively take control of public meetings (particularly "managed" ones). 7:00 pm...
