Obama the Community Organizer--"Rage to Change"

ORGANIZING TACTICS

Alinsky has a very simple method for preparing your people tactically. He advises that you go into little battles you can win first, in order to build up your people's confidence. He advises that later you make alliances that get you bigger battles.

In fact, this is very much akin to what he talks about in the training of your people. His primary tactic is to get into action to stoke the brush fires, to get your organization alive, and keep it alive. Again he says everything is in the action — the organizer must use his imagination to get them into action. The worst thing the organizer can do in terms of tactics is to get together with his people and lay out a structured campaign because the structured campaign allows you to rationalize failure and to stop the action any time you run into a barrier. He is not saying here that you do not have a plan. He is saying that you would not reveal that to your people because the chief tactic you would use is the flexibility of changing directions or stride anytime you need to.

In the matter of tactics, Alinsky is very much for developing tactics that are so exciting your people want to get involved in them. His books on the subject of organizing suggests the kind of tactics he is talking about....

Everyone talks about Obama's experience as a community organizer--but who knows what that mean? What techniques did he learn that he might be using now? Check out these tips from Chicago's own Saul Alinsky--including the use of "flexibility."

Per a brief reading, these are excellent tactics and rules for leadership.

And why haven’t conservatives written a book like this?

How to take over your local Republican party for instance.

This was a tremendously useful statement of historical fact and methodology. It is very consistent with Che Guevara’s teaching on making the forces of law and order (police, military, justice system) into “the enemy”, by provoking confrontation and hoping for abuses and insults to create martyrs and rallying cries. Chicago 1968 was a textbook case of it. The NEA organizer treated Alinsky et al as though they were scripture. It is communist to the core. THAT is the milieu that spawned Baraq, and THAT is precisely why he uses the tactics he uses. Listen for the “us vs. them” in his speeches. Listen for his calls to action. It’s dyed into his wool (oops).

These same techniques were used by leftists and homosexuals in the Episcopal Church to gain control of the levers of power. They succeeded. The result was and is women clergy, homosexual priests and bishops and bastardized, do your own liturgies. The entire Anglican Communion is in turmoil over these issues and the Communion is now disintegrating.

Have you noticed all the times Obama (and some in the media and other libs) from early in his campaign has said that the REPUBLICANS are going to -——fill in the blank with something negative or racist———? Obama frequently tells his audiences the Republicans are going to attack him for this or that. Notice, he hasn't been attacked but he is brainwashing his audience to think the Right is horrible.

Read Alinsky’s book “Rules for Radicals”. It describes how leftists target normal, good people and destroy them. Today’s democrat party knows the book by heart.

Alinsky's "rules" (basic Marxist political methodology) have transformed America. If you think of any anti-traditional movement in the past 40 years, Alinsky's techniques have been used.

That includes radical Black Power, liberation theololgy, feminism, the organized homosexual movement, anthropogenic global warming, MoveOn, the entire anti-war movement including Vietnam, the New Left, etc. The total inability of our side to comprehend this and counter it continues to amaze me. Our "leaders" have been playing Marquess of Queensbury rules against cutthroat totalitarianism for years.

Because if we don't, they will take us to the forum of last resort -- their favorite court. You have hit the nail on the head. They use the system against itself, just as surely as the 9/11 hijackers did. This asymmetrical warfare we are experiencing SINCE Vietnam is the painful symptom. Alinsky tactics are the cause. Obama is the ultimate result. He must go down in this election.

Obama did such a piss poor job as a “community organizer” that crime in that same area is so bad the Mayor and Governor are actually considering using the State Police and State NATIONAL GUARD to come in and help quell the out of control crime and violence....

Yep -— Chicago - a 100% Democrat controlled city!
Is THIS the “change” and “hope” that Obama wants to bring to YOUR city?

Hell - the city Obama has represented his ENTIRE POLITICAL CAREER is a morass and failed city!
What kind of resume or qualification to run the nation is THAT?

Obama is not a community organizer so much as he is a rabble rouser.

A Democrat "community organizer" of the Obama ilk is a smart, smooth-talking dude who hustles the underclass on the streets and in the projects. He hands out the turkeys at Thanksgiving, pints of booze on election day, organizes voter registration sessions wherever he can find a place to lay down his briefcase, has a bus ready to take the nursing home residents to the polls, networks with churches, the ward aldermen and influential politicians.

He knows the liberal rich folk from the other end of town and the leftist, intellectual elites who live in the shadow of the campus area of the University of Chicago. Here Obambi trolled for donations and other methods of support for his "social causes" to be used the next day to buy votes and influence.

A street hustler maintains an ever-expanding little black book which is worth its weight in gold especially to a young, aspiring activist with his eyes on a future gold ring.

Obama had enough education and money not to have to do this work, but he was canny enough to know that if he served his time in the 'hoods and the liberal salons, such an experience and networking would serve him well if he would seek ascension in the promising socialist/political milleu of the future.....something he was working hard to bring about.

Such is the work of a "community organizer" in the mean streets. Such is The Messiah's experience.

I'm from a Chicago suburb and I ought to know.

Yes, and they have for some time....being run by DEMS of course. Interesting article below from the Chicago Sun Times below. Seems the governor of Ill is going to send state law enforcement officials to the city of Chicago to help with crime. I say good. Perhaps now the Chicago PD will have some help to follow up on leads conserning the gang style murder of Donald Young and others.

You have captured it. In fact, what you described is the exact diorama of Hugo Chavez' campaign. He went around the country, tossing candy and cigars off the back of flatbed trucks, promising to bring those fat-cats down from their wealthy mansions, to give free land to all peasants -- and they voted him in. Of course, once IN, the sorry bastard proceeded to ruin the country and become the classic America-hating, counterintuitive marxist that he is. Baraq, likewise, relies on people with a peasant mentality. And they gots to have they benefits.
