After reading a few threads here recently about the Delphi Technique, and watching the youtube interview with Charlotte Iserbyt, I connected a couple of things in a way I hadn't looked at them before. I should also mention I have created a detailed presentation of Education in America from the beginning to now, from a biblical christian worldview (ie I call a spade a spade).
In any case it got me thinking about why liberals never give up (compared to conservatives who just don't seem to fight with the same zeal.) What's behind the differences?
And there are several reasons.
The big pushes liberals go for are moral relativism, deconstruction of current society (change agents), change is progress, etc.
They have to push moral relativism via the Delphi Technique. If absolutes exist, and people are certain of their beliefs (and therefore will not compromise them - what the Delphi technique requires), they will not go along with the Delphi Technique whether they know about it or not.
The person cannot be allowed to have absolutes and must be taught there are no absolutes. (Are you absolutely sure there are no absolutes?)
If they cling to their absolutes, they may try to sweet-talk them and say the more intelligent people often start out their way, but soon change their mind once they see how it works out. These are people the media and liberals claim 'have grown' or now have an 'enlightened' position.
If they still refuse, the next phase is ridicule and demonization of that person's position. Intimidation and name-calling.
Basically if you are unwilling to play the game of thesis-antithesis -> synthesis, they will try to force you to or force you out (make you irrelevant) and cast you as a bigot/sexist/homophobe - whatever catch phrase can damage your credibility and turn off as many unthinking Delphi sheep to never listen to you again.
But these people (change agents) never give up because they are making their living attempting to destroy old structures at the same time building new worse ones. They exist to make change, because without change (rejecting the old outdated ideas for new) there is no progress. They of course, get to define what progress is (because they are twisting things to make them turn out the way they have already decided they wnat things to change) because the whole Delphi/Alinsky method has the change agent already having a predetermined outcome. They are pushing their view of progress but making it appear 'it's just what everyone wants.'
Read Asimov's Foundation Series - I've often thought these people must have read this book and it has become their bible, in a way. They consider themselves the Second Foundation that silently directs how history will play out via the 'psychohistoric laws.'
Of course, it doesn't work if people realize they are being manipulated, both in the book, and in real life too. The question is how to get people to realize they are being manipulated, and mad enough to do something about it.
But the basics of what I was thinking about:
1. Tear down all moral absolutes. 2. Moral relativism takes hold. 3. Moral relativism validates Hegelian Dialectic. 4. The Hegelian Dialectic validates Delphi/Alinsky method. 5. Change Agents work to destroy whatever they don't like via the Delphi Technique, and replace them with what new policies they do want, getting cover from the masses because they manipulate them to the end they want.
Basically Delphi is an 'end justifies the means' technique.
Thus we see how Globall Warming is being infused into our lives..........

Yep, keep hammering the same message and it fianlly gets through. And it does help that the libs are more passionate than conservatives.

Well, they are making it their job/life goal. More of them can get paid for doing this. Ex. Teachers are ‘change agents’. They no longer want to teach children to respect parents and function independently and be good informed citizens, they want to create Orwellian no-thinkers. They work in the mass media. They work in liberal social groups, non profits or for profits. They work in victims/special protected class groups. They work in liberal legal groups. In radical environmental groups. They fund deconstructionist groups like the ACLU and whatever other groups are dedicated to tearing down whatever they want to change. These groups actually trick regular people (many who wouldn’t donate if they really knew what the group was about) who don’t know much about the group(s) and thus get some of their funding that way from those who would normally be non-supporters. The liberals who work in other areas help fund these people to work on their behalf.
Their main existence is to change things. These people get to spend most of their work time engaged in what many conservatives do not have personal time to do.
You may say well conservatives do the same thing, but we don’t have nearly the resources or the same percentages of people in government, schools, and the press - who all help each other out to spin things their way, cover up things they don’t want others to find out about.
The presentation I was referring to took me about a month and a half to finish.
Hegel didn’t use these terms: thesis-antithesis -> synthesis. That was Fichte.
It's quite simple, really. A conservative wants what already exists. He reasonably assumes that when he goes to bed tonight, the same reality (country, culture, family, friends) will exist tomorrow --- even without any help from him.
The leftwingers -- socialists, communists, anarchists, etc. -- aim at building something new, which does not exist today. If they go to bed and do nothing, they will wake up with nothing. That is why they are relentless today.
True, but it’s more than wanting something new. They want to destroy the old, not allow both old and new to co-exist and have people decide for themselves which worldview is better. They have to stomp out anything different than what they want.
They want to play God with the rest of us. And hardly a benevolent one.
Look at global warming crap. Specifically AlGore. Global warming is a perfect example of people trying to use the Hegelian Dialectic to get their way.
Crisis developed to be ‘fixed’: global warming
Thesis: Global warming is not scientific, not proven, man can hardly make a dent on the weather.
Antithesis: Global warming will kill us all in a few years in we don’t do drastic things immediately
Hidden goal: control over people’s lives, keep themselves in power and employed
Synthesis: start employing some of the less radical steps that ‘the masses’ say they are for doing (beginning of increased control/power over people). Along the way can throw out more junk science to say not working, therefore more drastic measures must be taken. Convene more groups of people to push for these goals, and get them pushed through by saying ‘we’re only doing what the people want.’ Built-in deniability. Now they have more power and control.
And if any scientists object or post data contradictory, don’t debate them (like AlGore) because if you cannot control the debate, may show weakness in global warming position. Instead demonize them, redicule them, compare them to holocaust deniers. Nobody wants to be associated with suhc a thing. Repeat the labels to MSM, anytime you can. Get more people standing up for the junk science by shouting catch-phrases instead of real debates and close examination and scrutiny of the science. Say that the time for debate is over, global warming is a fact.
