A Democratic mayor in Florida was arrested and charged with three counts of voter fraud, punishable by up to five years in prison. Anthony DeFillipo, mayor of North Miami Beach, was charged with three third-degrees felonies for allegedly voting illegally in three elections. He's the third mayor of that city to be arrested in 11 years. DeFillipo didn't even live in his city, violating the city charter, but he drove to North Miami Beach to vote three times, in August, October, and November, according to the Miami Herald. DAVIE - The father of a 3-year-old allegedly molested by a family friend may get a harsher penalty than the alleged offender police say he and a neighbor severely beat. An 18-year-old man sat in jail Tuesday without bail after an 11-year-old girl walking home from a McDonald's in Davie freed herself from his grasp during a sexual attack, authorities said. Two of the girl's friends were walking nearby and held the suspect down until police arrived, said Davie Police spokesman Lt. Bill Bamford.
