A 14-year-old Texas girl died Sunday morning after she was electrocuted while using her cellphone in the bathtub, according to family members. “This is such a tragedy that doesn’t need to happen to anyone else,” Madison Coe’s grandmother, Donna O’Guinn, told KCBD. “We want something good to come out of this as awareness of not using your cellphone in the bathroom as it is plugged in and charging.”

Before Monday, before the 911 call and police investigation, Pedro Ruiz III, an aspiring YouTube star in rural Minnesota, spent considerable time convincing his girlfriend to shoot a gun at his chest. There would be a thick encyclopedia book between the barrel and his body, authorities say he told 19-year-old Monalisa Perez. The pages, he reasoned, would stop the bullet. He even had evidence that it had worked once before - a different book with an entrance hole but no exit. So on Monday evening, the young couple positioned two cameras outside their home and prepared for their breakthrough stunt....

Two teenage girls were posing for selfies when they were killed by a plane in Mexico earlier this week, according to media reports. El Diario de Chihuahua said Monday that Nitzia Mendoza Corral, 18, and Clarissa Morquecho Miranda, 17, were hit while standing on the plane's landing strip after leaving a horse race March 26 in Chínipas, Chihuahua. The publication reported that the pair could not hear the plane coming because nearby horse races were so loud. The teens were hit in the head by one of the plane's wings, according to the outlet. On Facebook, a woman who appears...
  • A Review of "The End of Darwinism and How a Flawed and Disastrous Theory Was Stolen and Sold"

This is an important book that belongs in your library. It’s subtitle sums up the author’s message: “How a Flawed and Disastrous Theory Was Stolen and Sold.” Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution is the philosophical basis of anti-Christian culture. It is the source of all the rot—runaway statism, institutionalized atheism, eugenics, “gay pride” parades, “transgender” restrooms, the destruction of “inferior races,” and all the rest. If it stinks, Darwinism is at the root of it. It’s not only pervasive; it’s also politically powerful. Any public figure who says he doesn’t believe in evolution will be flayed alive by the media...

The 200th anniversary of the birth of devoted Materialist and Evolutionist Charles Darwin was in 2009. It was that year that I first became aware of “Evolution Weekend.” Originally “Evolution Sunday,” Evolution Weekend is the product of The Clergy Letter Project. This project exists to promote the teaching of Darwinian evolution, especially within religious institutions. For example, the letter to Christian clergy, in part, reads, "While virtually all Christians take the Bible seriously and hold it to be authoritative in matters of faith and practice, the overwhelming majority do not read the Bible literally, as they would a science textbook…Religious...

Our Darwin Dictionary can help make everything clear! _________________ ASS, n,: acronym for “Age of the Solar System” conventionally assumed by secular moyboys to be 4.5 billion years, plus or minus a few million. Since this figure depends on BAD, it is really a BAD ASS position to be in, given the number of solar system objects that suggest much younger ages. BAD, n.: acronym for bluffing assertion of Darwinism or bald assertion of Darwinism; i.e., the strategy of stating an evolutionary mythoid (q.v.) with chutzpah in hopes it...

  • In the "living constitution", we see that progressives are ardently anti-science

    12/22/2016 2:22:21 PM PST · by ProgressingAmerica · 9 replies
Specifically, the science that progressives are rejecting is Newtonian in nature. I'll explain: In the book Constitutional Government in the United States, Woodrow Wilson wrote the following:(page 57) Living political constitutions must be Darwinian in structure and in practice. Fortunately, the definitions and prescriptions of our constitutional law, though conceived in the Newtonian spirit and upon the Newtonian principle, are sufficiently broad and elastic to allow for the play of life and circumstance. To be even more specific, what Woodrow Wilson is doing as he is actively inventing the concept of the "living constitution", is holding up Darwinian science over...

Herero genocide by Marc Ambler Like most visitors to Namibia,1 one of the memorable pictures I carried away was of the noble-looking Herero people. Their women wear colourful, voluminous Victorian-style dresses and hats, and the men wear uniforms on ceremonial occasions. How terribly sad it was to learn that 100 years ago, their great-grandparents had been the victims of the first genocide of the 20th century. ... That the German settlers and a high-ranking officer like General von Trotha would hold to these ‘superior race’, ‘survival-of-the-fittest-through-“cleansing”-of-the-weakest’ views is hardly surprising. Darwin’s On the Origin of Species (which is subtitled By...

Earth's flora is responsible for the glaciers and rivers that have created this planet's distinctive landscapeAstronomers are finding lots of exoplanets that are orbiting stars like the sun, significantly raising the odds that we will find a similar world. But if we do, the chance that the surface of that planet will look like ours is very small, thanks to an unlikely culprit: plants. We all know how Earth's landscape came about, right? Oceans and land masses formed, mountains rose, and precipitation washed over its surface; rivers weathered bare rock to create soil and plants took root. Well, new research...

Centuries ago, a native Central American people terrified of a witch believed to live deep in the earth used to sacrifice children and young women to Nicaragua's Masaya volcano. Today, the crater southwest of the capital Managua is an international tourist magnet, where photo-snapping visitors scramble among sulfurous fumes to get views of its bubbling lava—a rare sight. The only volcanoes in the world to boast lakes of incandescent magma are Masaya, Hawaii's Kilauea and Nyiragongo in the Democratic Republic of Congo, explained a Nicaraguan geographer and environmentalist, Jaime Incer.
