As we commemorate the loss of life as a result of terrorist attacks on 9/11 in NYC, at the Pentagon in Washington, DC and over the fields of Shanksville, Pennsylvania, here are two video versions of the 2003 Darryl Worley country song "Have You Forgotten". The first one was posted on Youtube by Worley himself, I believe. It may have been edited a bit since it was first released in 2003. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6yLQRF-cEU The second version is much more graphic in showing victims of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks. All of the footage from 9/11 is real except for a...

-Start of Excerpt- I never served in our nation's armed forces. I was of draft age in 1973, and the Selective Service felt, in their wisdom, that it was more important for me to complete my undergradutate education so I could prepare for my chosen profession-comedian. Three decades later, I was asked to give back, by going on a USO tour in 1999 to, among other places, Bosnia and Kosovo. It changed my view of the military. I returned home with nothing but admiration for our troops and their leaders. That's what happens when you go on a USO Tour....

Hannity has been playing Darryl Worley song, "Have You Forgotten" while mixing in the Dems attacks on the President... It also intersperses Bush's comments, re: his war on terrorism.Awesome, in my view, of making the Dims look extremely small, childish, petty, mean, etc etc etc... Even if you don't like Sean, you really have to appreciate the fact that someone is hitting back. The VP, Senate and House MLs sure aren't doing a thing... Kudos to Sean.God bless the troops protecting our nation, and our hearts go out to the families that lost loved ones 2 years ago...

Country singer Darryl Worley hugs fan Mary Scafaro of Florida during a party at Baldwin Showcase.

Then there were hand-held video cameras fighting for space with high-dollar television recording equipment. There were amplifiers and managers and music, and about 400 people crammed into a room to hear, greet and cheer for Hardin County, Tenn., native Darryl Worley.

“I’m sorry, I’m a little scattered,” Darryl Worley says, calling in on a cell phone. “I’ve got so many damn things going on, and I’m sitting in the middle of an airport. It’s not the greatest place to do an interview.” A slight echo distorts everything he hears on the other end of the phone, although his own words come through loud and clear. That’s appropriate, considering the fiercely patriotic message of his No. 1 hit, “Have You Forgotten?” A bold statement from a traditional-minded singer, “Have You Forgotten?” has become country music’s rallying cry of 2003. The single...

The minute I heard "Have You Forgotten?" I knew I had to hear the rest of the CD it came off of. Already a fan of the singer of the song, Darryl Worley, I instantaneously loved the song and the sentiment behind it. It isn't a song about the Iraq situation but more of a reminder of why we sent troops to Afghanistan. Upon hearing the song, Darryl's label DreamWorks Records knew they'd have to rush out an album to give fans something with the song on it. Since Darryl's last record I Miss My Friend had just released...

Country singing star Darryl Worley joined me in the broadcast studio yesterday to sing his tribute to the troops called, "Have You Forgotten?" Darryl is the kind of guy you wouldn't associate with show biz. Unassuming, polite, and enormously talented, he wrote that song as a tribute to our troops after a visit with them in Afghanistan, and it's dynamite. I got two answers to the question the song posed yesterday. As you'd expect, the Marines haven't forgotten. Everyone knows what the Marines' motto, semper fidelis, means. They are always faithful to their country and to their brothers in arms....

WASHINGTON, April 16, 2003 - Everyone knows Donald H. Rumsfeld is one tough hombre. Yet today, a country singer made the straight-talking, no-nonsense defense secretary wipe tears from his eyes. Darryl Worley gave a 45-minute concert at the Pentagon for several hundred service members, civilian employees and family members this morning. The show was broadcast live to troops overseas, and an audio webcast is available here. After singing a mix of down-home country songs, with an extra dollop of patriotism, Worley introduced his chart-topping hit "Have You Forgotten." He said he wrote the tune after a USO trip to Afghanistan...

Darryl Worley's patriotic song "Have You Forgotten" is now #1 on the Radio & Records country music charts, for the week ending April 5th. This is one of the fastest climbs to #1 by a song on the country charts. "Have You Forgotten" has been on the charts only 5 weeks....usually most songs take as long as 30 weeks from its chart debut to hit #1.

If you haven't seen the video or heard the song by Darryl Worley check out the link above. You'll need Real Player or Windows Media Player 9. An absolutely outstanding thumb in the eye for the absent minded war protesters! Dixie Chicks.....take notice.

A poll to freep to support playing Darryl Worley's "Have You Forgotten" anti-protester country music hit. The station manager said on KABC 790 AM that another poll will be added later today to find out if people want them to stop playing the Dixie Chicks due to their slamming our President Bush while playing a concert in London, where the lead singer said "By the way, we're ashamed our President is from Texas."

3-12-03 - Country singer, Darryl Worley has written a wonderful song called "Have You Forgotten?" set to be released on April 15th. Darryl appeared on Hannity and Colmes on Fox News on Monday and stated that his song is not getting air play. One station manager stated that "I don't care how popular it is, or how many requests I get for the song, I'm not playing it." Today the song is #50 on the Billboard Singles chart. It's time to be pro-active again, and call your local radio station, request the song and remember on Tax Day, April 15th,...

Just saw a repeat of the Lou Dobbs show on CNN and the country singer, forgive me but I believe his name is Daryl Worley, was on singing his song "Do You Remember.... what was so awesome was it seemed CNN made a video to this song which was very much pro-war and anti-American haters...I'm sorry I mean anti-peace protestors. Jeez, you should've just heard Dobbs scathing commentary against the UN!! The video is on CNN right now!!

Evoking the shocking Sept. 11 images of the crumbling World Trade Center Towers, a timely new song written to pay tribute to the U.S. military has struck a chord with Americans in support of war against Iraq. "I hear people say we don't need this war. I say there's some things worth fighting for," begins the tune by country singer Darryl Worley. "They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in. Before you start your preaching let me ask you this my friend. Have you forgotten how it felt that day to see your homeland under fire and our...

What country singer Darryl Worley experienced in Afghanistan would affect his life forever.

In the United States, his fans were carefree: singing, dancing and toasting a night on the town. But his fans in Afghanistan and Kuwait -- stationed on the front line of the war on terrorism -- had rifles slung over their shoulders.
