[history]
Country singer Darryl Worley hugs fan Mary Scafaro of Florida during a party at Baldwin Showcase.
Then there were hand-held video cameras fighting for space with high-dollar television recording equipment. There were amplifiers and managers and music, and about 400 people crammed into a room to hear, greet and cheer for Hardin County, Tenn., native Darryl Worley.

Will the republicans play "Have You Forgotten" at the end of the 2004 Republican convention?
That will energize the base and maybe grab a million "swing" voters.

Will the republicans play "Have You Forgotten" at the end of the 2004 Republican convention? If so, it will show how stupid the electorate is.

Or how cynical you are.

"Have You Forgotten" The premise of the song should be have you forgotten how much the government steals from its citizens.

The premise of the song should be have you forgotten how much the government steals from its citizens. It's not, however.

So, maybe we should have done nothing after 9-11 like the hero of many, x42, did nothing? Maybe you think we should have done nothing because WMD have yet to be found in Iraq? Maybe someone hurled in your mess kit?

Maybe someone hurled in your mess kit? Decisions on whether on not we attack another nation should not be based on some bozo country singer's opinion. Because Darryl Worley draws some connection between 9-11-01 and Iraq, we should attack? You are beyond reason.

Where did you get the idea that that is what I believe? You appear to be trying to pick a fight without a coherent argument. Might want to try it with someone who enjoys nailing jell-o to the wall.

Sounds like Baghdad Bernie is on this thread under the name Aloysius.

Sounds like Baghdad Bernie is on this thread under the name Aloysius. Look, I'm not out to pick a fight, and if you get goose bumps and all watered up when some no-name, country singer puts out yet another song related to 9-11, more power to you. But posting this crap and talking about it as if it will influence elections is absurd.
Darryl Worley is taking advantage of 9-11 and suckers like you are buying it up.

I'm speechless, McGruff, except to say, I'd like to hear some of this snobbish sentiment expressed at a Darryl Worley Concert being performed at one of our military bases. Maybe the only acceptable venue an American should be allowed to find spiritual meaning to life and death is at a catholic mass? Maybe I just don't get it?

Maybe the only acceptable venue an American should be allowed to find spiritual meaning to life and death is at a catholic mass? Do you find spiritual meaning to life and death at a country music concert? All this time I was looking to God and I probably should have been looking to Shania Twain.

I see. The answer to my question is "yes." Thank you for defining where my spirituality, and anyone else's, should come from.
I pity you and your bigotry.

I pity you and your bigotry. "No one comes to the Father but through me"
Jesus Christ,
"Have you forgotten"
Darryl Worley
Call me a bigot. You follow your false god (who can't even sing) and I will follow the true God.
