Wednesday, November 14, 2012 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 54% of Likely Voters at least somewhat approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) at least somewhat disapprove. Obama’s overall approval ratings since Election Day have been at the highest levels since the early months of his presidency in 2009 (see trends). Ninety-eight percent (98%) of black voters approve, while 56% of whites disapprove. Among voters of other races, 83% approve and 15% disapprove.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 31% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -6 (see trends). That’s the President’s best Approval Index rating since the morning of his press conference a week-and-a-half ago. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8 (see trends). Just 25% believe that the economic stimulus package has helped the economy. The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.
