From myth to masterpiece, the first street car he ever built will become a legend. The curvaceous Daedalus roadster, hand-built from scratch over a span of 17 years in a two-car garage, is a one-off original design with a hand-formed aluminum body, 302-cubic-inch GMC inline six-cylinder engine, C4 Corvette suspension, Truspoke wire wheels, and custom leather interior. Inspired by European sports roadsters that ruled Sebring, Le Mans, and high-end tracks around the world in the late 50s and early 60s, owner and builder Kris Heil incorporated styling cues from Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, and Porsche without copying any particular design....

Could use some help please. I make a calendar every year for my dad that includes daily text entries to remind him of birthdays, but also has jokes and puns which he likes. I have always used the iPhoto calendar template in the past, but Apple no longer supports making calendars from iPhoto. Last year the Apple template was available but I had to order the calendar from Mimeo by sending them a PDF of my iPhoto calendar.. Mimeo has a calendar template but it limits text entries to maybe 20 words per date. I have searched all over but...

Today I went with my 6 year old grandson to a  Halloween gathering.at his school. He was instructed, however,  "NOT" to wear a Donald Trump custom. So. I guess it would  be alright  to wear an Adam Schiff custom and the girls could come in a  Nancy Pelosi custom. Now that would scary, really scary?

Customs office on border about to close, officials say October 21, 2006 DANDONG, China -- North Korea has few doors open for goods to be imported from the outside world. This Liaoning province city on the border with the North is a major access point for such goods, but the gateway is shutting on the Chinese side as the international community steps up efforts to isolate the North after its Oct. 9 nuclear test. The Chinese customs office here will shut down for 40 days starting next week, a Chinese border patrol official told the JoongAng Ilbo yesterday. About 80...

So sorry to post a vanity, but I am in an area that I have no experience. I was t-boned by a driver in my 1996 Camaro that was in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition and has been modified in both areas for show and race. How do I argue diminished value and or loss of raceworthiness? I know about 17c and am in Georgia, but disagree that a 72 Ferrari that is hit has no diminished value due to age or mileage and ditto my poor chevy. Any advice on combatting what I think is coming for a 10...

Public release date: 5-Nov-2003 Contact: Claire Bowles claire.bowles@rbi.co.uk 44-207-331-2751 New Scientist Oldest human custom EVEN early humans knew a thing or two about dental hygiene. Our ancestors used grass stalks as tooth picks, experimental findings suggest. The teeth of ancient hominids commonly have curved grooves on their roots. It has been suggested that these marks were made by an implement used to pick teeth. But critics of this theory point out that the teeth of today's regular toothpick users have no such marks. Resolving this conundrum has surprisingly wide implications. Similar grooves have been found on fossil teeth dating back...
