Subtle, huh – and according to reports, local police did nothing to prevent the Nazi flag being raised, nor to prevent chants of “Sieg Heil!” The flag was held up by NK Siroki Brijeg fans during their recent home match against bitter rivals Sarajevo FC at Stadion Pecara. Sarajevo fans weren’t granted quite the same leniency, as they had brought with them banners in tribute to Vedran Puljic (a young Sarajevo fan who was shot dead, allegedly by a Siroki supporter, during rioting between the two sets of fans last season; although some fans claim Puljic was killed by a...

Sarajevo, 22 Oct. (AKI) – Bosnia's Croat and Serb leaders, Dragan Covic and Milorad Dodik, have agreed to to work together to create a Bosnian Croat entity. The move drew criticism from Muslims, who claimed it would lead to the "destruction of Bosnia." Muslims, Croats and Serbs form the country's three largest groups but it is currently divided into a Serb entity and a Muslim-Croat federation, where Croats feel they are an oppressed minority. “Each nationality in Bosnia should have its own area,” Covic said......

Sarajevo, 29 Oct. (AKI) - The top international representative in Bosnia, Miroslav Lajcak, said on Wednesday the country must speed up reforms in order to overcome political deadlock and economic stagnation. “It’s high time for leaders and members of parliament in Bosnia-Herzegovina to speed up the reforms needed for European integration,” Lajcak said. He pointed out that political quarrels between local Muslim, Serb and Croat leaders have blocked the reforms and stalled the country’s drive towards membership in the European Union. “The European Union has invested a lot to secure stability in Bosnia-Herzegovina and we should not allow anyone to...

By Caroline Tosh in The Hague (TU No 468, 15-Sep-06) A former United States ambassador to Croatia revealed this week that it was American pressure that led to the removal of two senior Bosnian Croats during the 1992-94 Muslim-Croat conflict that was part of the wider Bosnian war. Savich The continuation of yesterday’s piece on the war crimes trials of Bosnian Muslim commanders at the Hague, this article provides vivid examples of mujahedin tactics as well as the fallout of supporting their cause for the US, up to and including the war in Iraq. Al-Qaeda on Trial: The Hague and Bosnian Muslim War Crimes, Part I The war crimes indictments and trials of mujahedin and high-ranking Bosnian Muslim military leaders have received scant coverage in the US and Western media. The US government and media do not want to see the unraveling of their lies and deceptions in regard to the true goals and actions of the Islamic regime they aided and abetted during the 1990’s civil wars in Yugoslavia, as the full truth is too devastating. It damns the Clinton administration, other Western allies and media for aiding war criminals and terrorists while...
