Report: Dozens pass out from heat at Obama campaign event By Jonathan Easley - 07/06/12 03:14 PM ET Dozens of supporters passed out from the extreme heat at an Obama campaign event in Pittsburgh on Friday. Obama was speaking outdoors at Carnegie Mellon University as part of his two-day campaign swing via bus through the key swing states of Ohio and Pennsylvania, and according to multiple reports on Twitter, people were being carted off on stretchers or leaving the event to seek shade. AccuWeather said the temperature was 98 degrees at the time of the speech, but that it felt...

Vanity Fair Attacks Rush Limbaugh and Sentences 'Environmental Sinners' to Hell Posted by Julia A. Seymour on April 9, 2007 - 17:22. Welcome to hell global warming skeptics. That was the message of a two-page "Dante's Inferno: Green Edition" in the May issue of Vanity Fair. That was just part of a full-issue assault in which the magazine unleashed its vitriol against businesses, conservatives and even radio host Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh "has blinded millions of Americans to the climate crisis," proclaimed Vanity Fair. The magazine also accused him of "the environmental destruction that he did so much to enable in...

    Register Guard ^ | June 26, 2005 | James Chaney
June 26, 2005 Guest Viewpoint: The party's over for betrayed Republican By James Chaney As of today, after 25 years, I am no longer a Republican. I take this step with deep regret, and with a deep sense of betrayal. I still believe in the vast power of markets to inspire ideas, motivate solutions and eliminate waste. I still believe in international vigilance and a strong defense, because this world will always be home to people who will avidly seek to take or destroy what we have built as a nation. I still believe in the protection of individuals and...

I am very worried for Karl Rove. Ir appears he is going to jail, and I don't want him to end up in a bad place where bad things could happen to him (what were those bad federal prisons referred to in the movie "Office Space?") Can we start a petition to give to his sentencing judge to have him sent to a nice prison? Maybe he coould go where Martha Stewart went. Or is that just for women. Let's make sure he goes to a nice place, though.

Here is their fantasy. Of course, we did not see this as Clinton was destroying the infrastructure of the Serbs and destroying the environment with depleted uranium and massive pollution of the Danube after hitting a chemical plant. Defendants in the dock at the Ango-American War Crimes Trial of 2010, held at The Hague under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court. Of the 20 defendants shown here -- the so-called "Republican Guard" -- only one (Alan Greenspan, second row, second from right) was found not guilty, on the grounds that the destruction of the American economy and the global...
