<p>Modesto police refused Tuesday to comment on Scott Peterson's claim that he told them Christmas Eve about his affair with Amber Frey.</p>
<p>Peterson made his comment Tuesday during his first lengthy interview, broadcast on ABC Television's "Good Morning America." He confirmed the romantic relationship that Frey reported, and denied killing his pregnant wife, Laci, or having anything to do with her disappearance.</p>
