Peterson says he told police about affair

Modesto police refused Tuesday to comment on Scott Peterson's claim that he told them Christmas Eve about his affair with Amber Frey.

Peterson made his comment Tuesday during his first lengthy interview, broadcast on ABC Television's "Good Morning America." He confirmed the romantic relationship that Frey reported, and denied killing his pregnant wife, Laci, or having anything to do with her disappearance.

So . . . if Laci already knew about the affair, and the police already knew about the affair, what (in Scott's mind) was to be gained by publicly responding to reports of the affair as "a bunch of lies"? Wouldn't that just itself be a lie, right there in front of the police, to whom he had already spilled all the "truth"? This guy is dumber than dirt.

This guy is dumber than dirt.

I just saw him talking to Diane Sawyer. His eyelids indicated deception. And later his "crying" was in a posture that sure made it look like it was staged.

The PRINCIPLE OF PARSIMONY and the horrible way he came off on camera really makes it look like this guy is in big trouble.

Scott really does look dumb because he keeps having these Freudian slips. And yet he's got that look on his face like he thinks he's pulling one over on us. And every friend or family member that speaks up for him says something incriminating too digging the hole deeper for Scott.

And oh i'm with you, that crying looked SO fake.
