The United Conservative Party has formed a majority government. With 2,012 of 7,337 polls reporting, premier-elect Jason Kenney’s party is leading or elected in 63 ridings, with the NDP leading or elected in 23. There are 87 ridings in Alberta, and 44 are needed to form a majority government.
