In the early to mid 90's I listened to a show on Sunday night on KKLA (99.5 FM), a Christian radio station in LA, that was like The Prairie Home Companion, only decidedly Christian. Does anyone remember or know what this show was? I'm sure it was syndicated and broadcast in markets across the country. The Sunday night lineup (25 years ago now) included the White Horse Inn Lutheran apologetics program and this Prairie Home Companion like show. Does anyone remember or know the name of this show?

Red Double THE TWENTIETH OF SEPTEMBER marks one of the saddest events in history. At the height of her power, in the glorious days of Pepin and Charlemagne, the eldest daughter of the Church had crowned her mother; and the Church, in the person of her Head, reigned in reality, as well as by right until, a thousand years later, Satan took advantage of the fallen state of France, to despoil Peter of the patrimony which ensured his independence. The holy Cross is still shedding its rays upon us! Today a group of martyrs, and this time a whole...

To: All Kentucky Outdoor Press Association members From: ****** I just received word that Bud Light, the sweetest little dog in the world, and the official Kentucky Outdoor Press Association mascot, had to be euthanized today because he had cancer and it had spread rapidly, leaving him to face delibitating pain. Nobody knows how old Bud Light was, since he was a "pound hound," adopted at the local animal shelter. It's also impossible to determine what breed he was, but he was a white, fluffy small bundle of joy. Any of you who ever attended the KOPA meetings know that...

It's been a quiet week in St. Paul, Minnesota, our hometown. The mayor turned on his police lights to halt a fleeing citizen after a fender-bender. The Senate Tax Committee is turning everything to mush. Bodies so naked they don't even have skin are on display at the Science Museum of Minnesota. We welcome the world-class actors who will be cruising down Wabasha Street this evening for the opening of the movie version of "A Prairie Home Companion." This is a pretty big deal for St. Paul — not like the high school wrestling tournament, but pretty big all the...

  • KERRY vs. the SECOND AMENDMENT

Last month Kerry posed for a photo op waving around a shotgun -- with his finger on the trigger. Last week there was Kerry at another photo op with a shotgun. This time the hypocrite was holding a type of weapon he wants to ban (S. 1431). Lurch would have us believe he favors the Second Amendment, but that is just another political lie. Fact is, we have Kerry's 20 year voting record in the Senate and that shows two interesting things: Kerry votes 100% socialist and he has voted to violate the Second Amendment to the Constitution every single...

A friend has just contacted me and asked if I or someone I knew would be willing to do a compassionate act. Today there is a couple from England who are vacationing in California and the husband has suffered a heart attack and has undergone multible by-pass surgery. The wife knows no one in Modesto, where he is in hospital now and is lonely, scared and in need of emotional support. I'm in South Orange County so this would be a few hundred miles for me. Bottom line - any freeper(s) up there that might be willing to contribute some...
