On Nov 11 we had a huge turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond on a cool, but relatively nice, evening. This was FReep #30 as FReepers have countered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center as their have for over 7 months. Leftists sent over a tag team to our side that included the "world's oldest community college student," but they were rebuffed. Pinko Eric "Squeegee Guy" provided us with some good laughs on his way as he left. We were pleased to have numerous veterans join us for...

The left will not leave military recruiting offices alone. Freepers are needed to defend this office from being defiled by the lefties. These are the details from the left! (Barf alert... anti-military stuff ahead) http://www.dawndc.net/float.php?annc_id=264§ion_id=1 ----------------------------------------------- DEMONSTRATION AT ARMED FORCES RECRUITING CENTER IN SILVER SPRING SET FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 5PM – 7PM Sgt. Thomas Kelt, a U.S. Army recruiter, left this message on a young man’s cell phone: "Hey Chris, this is Sgt. Kelt with the Army man. I think we got disconnected. Okay, I know you were on your cell probably and just had a bad connection or...

CODE PINK 's invasion on school campuses and recruitment offices this week with their "Not Your Soldier" & "National Stand Down" student days on November 17th & 18th is a disgrace! They have organized students across the country to stand up to say, "We are NOT YOUR SOLDIERS" — "We demand for our schools and communities to be military-free zones" on Thursday, and working together with the National Call for Nonviolent Resistance to stage a "Stand Down Day" at military recruiting stations on Friday. Every red-blooded American aware of these activities should counter their efforts by getting this information out...

We see them every day on the back windows of SUVs, on the fuel doors of sedans--stickers and magnets that say "Support Our Troops." Sometimes they sport yellow ribbons; sometimes American flags. Often they are weathered, peeling off the metal or glass. We see them so often it's easy to tune them out. Like the inoffensive "Have a nice day," the slogan is a pleasant sentiment that skims across our consciousness and disappears into the air. On Veteran's Day, when we honor all of those who have served our country through the military, it's helpful to take a closer look...

Today on the FreeRepublic Hour on Rightalk Radio, my guest was Joe Connor. Joe's dad was killed in an FALN bomb blast at Fraunces Tavern in 1975. Among the people we discussed were Bill Clinton, who pardoned FALN terrorists to help his wife, William Morales, FALN chief bombmaker being protected by Fidel Castro, and Joanne Chesimard, a cop-killer who is also being protected by Castro. The Bush-hating and despicable women from Code Pink, the group harassing wounded soldiers and families at Walter Reed Army Medical Center every week, will soon be off to visit their pal Fidel in his island...

On Nov 4 we had a huge turnout of FReepers and almost as many members of Rolling Thunder. FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond countered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center as their have for over 7 months. Rolling Thunder ("RT") had considerable interaction with the Pinkos as many of them walked over to one of the Pinkos corners. Some of the RT members crossed back to our side. Others were still on the Pinko side when police arrived, apparently after Eric "Squeegee Guy" made a 911 call, but there...

As you probably know, IED stands for “Improvised Explosive Device,” and it means any homemade bomb. A lot of the tactical creativity on both sides in Iraq revolves around the IEDs. The soldiers work on ways to detect or survive them, and the jihadis work out new ways to hide them. They’ve stuck bombs in dead dogs, hid them in curbs or buried them under streets, a whole bag of tricks. In each, concealment is key. So, until recently, no one had ever deployed a hot pink IED, but now we have them in Washington, DC. Each Friday night, members...

Freep of the World Cant Wait/Troops out now protest in Madison. They smelled like moonbats. Most of the pictures were of the lefties, but there is a picture of a ProtestWarrior holding a PW sign in it (It is me).

FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have countered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for over half a year. Despite a breeze that made it feel cooler than the upper 40s temperatures, FReepers were out in force again. Cindy Sheehan was on the Pinko side ever so briefly, but her usual press entourage was nowhere to be found. Karl Rove joined us for the second week in a row and President Bush made a surprise appearance, leading one of the Pinkos to confront us close-up on our side. The Veterans...

Thousands of protesters staged rallies on Wednesday across the United States against the policies of President George W. Bush, including the war in Iraq and response to Hurricane Katrina. The World Can't Wait organization, a coalition of groups formed recently to stage the rallies, used the anniversary of Bush's re-election to call for his resignation in protests that took place in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago. In New York, students walked out of schools and colleges and joined other supporters as thousands rallied in Union Square before marching nearly 2 miles to Times Square...

Hot off the digital camera, pictures of the action today at Union Square. A communist front organization, The World Can't Wait, sponsored and organized today's protest. The theme was RESIST OR DIE: DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME. There were a few of us there counter-protesting as well. http://www.flickr.com/photos/imagesofperfection/sets/1279186/ Also here are pictures from the Support our Troops and their Mission weekend in DC in September.

The Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime Sign the call now!Your government, on the basis of outrageous lies, is waging a murderous and utterly illegitimate war in Iraq, with other countries in their sights. Your government is openly torturing people, and justifying it. Your government puts people in jail on the merest suspicion, refusing them lawyers, and either holding them indefinitely or deporting them in the dead of night. Your government is moving each day closer to a theocracy, where a narrow and hateful brand of Christian fundamentalism will rule.Your government suppresses the science that doesn't fit its...

We did it. The CR's and I counterprotested the World Can't Wait rally. The World Cant Wait people had some sick signs, such as Bush=Nazi, Communism is good for the world, ANSWER signs, and a Code Pink sign. The CR's defended a recruiter office. They had to leave because of class. THe hippies then marched to the capitol, and then marched back to campus and to the ROTC building. I stood there myself holding the hippies back until they forced their way around me. They yelled "Racist Sexist AntiGay, Fascist Bigot go away" One of the antiwar protesters said that...

The America haters from Code Pink(o) are at Walter Reed every Friday night with despicable messages for our wounded soldiers and their families. Yes, I question their patriotism. Thank goodness the DC FReepers are there to represent us and show soldiers that Americans really care and are appreciative. Here is an idea that I hope some of you think has merit. I want to flood Walter Reed with greeting cards of support for our wounded soldiers. Everyone knows how good it makes you feel to get a card, especially one that is unexpected. If you would like to participate, for...

Can't wait until January 2009 to see a change at the White House? Activists throughout the country are taking to the streets on Wednesday to spread the message that they'd like to see change before the next presidential election. Legally, of course. Organizers of "The World Can't Wait" hope to see more than 1,000 people march down State Street to mark the one-year anniversary of the 2004 election. They will gather at 12:30 p.m. at Library Mall, and walk to the Capitol. The Madison event will be one of dozens on campuses throughout the nation. "There is no exact blueprint...

D.C. Chapter STOPS the Crawford "Peace" Bus in its tracks, after it parked illegally for over an hour blocking traffic Friday night at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Rescue & fire trucks had to change lanes to avoid the hippy bus. Metro Police was called three times but failed to respond, so the DC Chapter took a "citizen's action". See the movie: PLEASE BE ADVISED MY SERVER MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ADEQUATELY HANDLE ALL THE DOWNLOADING OF THE VIDEO TRAFFIC THAT THIS POST WILL GENERATE. Outside Walter Reed on Friday Nights, Two Camps Stand Their Ground Every Friday night, Gael Murphy and Kristinn Taylor meet in Northwest Washington, separated by a bustling four-lane road -- and a whole lot more. Since spring, the two have stood firmly on opposite sides of Georgia Avenue NW in front of Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Murphy leading a coalition of war protesters, Taylor marshaling supporters of the Iraq war. Both sides say they are there to support the troops. Beyond that, there's little common ground. "They start yelling, 'Murderer!' 'Traitor!' They call me by name," said Murphy, a...

FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have countered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for over half a year. Despite rain proceeding the event and a heavy mist during most of the FReep, FReepers were out in force again on Friday, Oct. 21. We had one FReeper, who traveled from Texas specifically to attend the FReep, and we had another in town from Arizona. We also were happy to have both Senator Clinton and Karl Rove join us, although BufordP roughed Rove up a bit over the Harriet Miers' nomination...
