The Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald is no conservative, but he’s also not someone to give fellow liberals and progressives a pass over their actions that he feels threatens democracy and transparency in government. For starters, he found it interesting that liberals all of a sudden think that leaks are awesome since they’re making it harder for the Trump White House to govern. Cortney wrote about this hypocrisy, where Greenwald said on CNN’s Reliable Sources how the Obama administration declared war on the press first, that more leakers were prosecuted under the 1917 Espionage Act under Obama than all previous administrations combined,...

Last week, the New York Post published a dubious story about Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic presidential nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden. The Post story claims Hunter Biden helped arrange a meeting between Joe Biden and an executive at a Ukrainian energy company Burisma in April 2015. The series of stories contained hacked materials and personal email addresses, so Twitter (TWTR) initially prevented people from posting links to the article, sending it via direct message and retweeting it. As CNN's Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter noted on "Reliable Sources" Sunday, "We are not talking about fully reliable...

A big question heading into this cycle was whether Democrats' best path to winning back the White House ran through the Sunbelt or the Great Lakes (i.e. Rust Belt). While we won't know for certain which pathway was best for them until the votes are actually counted, the current data shows a pretty clear divide. If former Vice President Joe Biden is to win this election, his best chance probably runs through the Great Lakes... Hillary Clinton won contests containing 232 electoral votes. Were Biden to hold the Clinton states (and polls indicate that he probably will), he needs to...

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/10/cnn_insists_we_are_emneverem_going_back_to_normal.html CNN "We're never going back to normal." Well, no, of course not. NO "news" orgs are. Once they "lost their virginity" by going full Hoax News on "muh Russia," it was forever over for all of them as real "news" organizations. Once that trust was broken, it was not a case of a staged exploding truck as one of the networks did; or even @DanRather flat out using fabricated documents on a major story about W. This time it was a constant, full buy-in to the Russia Hoax for four years and counting. It's like when MTV quit...

If you thought 2020 could not get any weirder, you were wrong.  This week, two of the most radical, Trump-hating media outlets in America acted out of character, so much so that I glanced outside my window, expecting to see pigs flying by.  On Monday, the New York Times published an optimistic article saying the Wuhan virus is coming to an end.  It even praised one of the Trump administration's initiatives.  And then, if that wasn't crazy enough, on Tuesday, the CNN talking heads went out of their way to praise Amy Coney Barrett.  Sometimes, weird is good. Let's start with the New York Times piece, "A Dose...

President Trump's economic adviser Larry Kudlow said Sunday that Senate Republicans will "go along with" the $1.8 trillion White House stimulus proposal despite their vocal pushback. Kudlow told CNN's "State of the Union" that the White House expects support from Republicans in the upper chamber. A source told The Hill on Saturday that several senators expressed "significant concerns" about the proposal's cost in a call with administration officials. The White House economic adviser said on Sunday he does not think the coronavirus stimulus bill is "dead." "Republicans in the Senate put up their own bill a few weeks ago and...

A federal appeals court on Saturday granted a temporary administrative stay, allowing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's directive for one location per county for ballot drop boxes to remain in place for now. The grant from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit means the directive from Abbott, a Republican, will stand until the court has considered the state's motion for a stay on its merits. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had filed an emergency motion Saturday for a stay pending appeal to block a district court order that would have allowed county officials to accept hand delivery...

Joe Biden leads President Donald Trump nationally and is running ahead or even with him in most swing state polls. He is besting Trump on just about every question atop voters' minds, from the coronavirus and health care to "law and order." And yet, for many Democrats a constant anxiety -- that somehow seems to spike with each dose of good news -- persists. Four years on from Trump's stunning victory, the psychic wounds of Hillary Clinton's loss remain fresh. When a flurry of new polls were released this week that showed Biden's advantage widening, the collective reaction from liberals,...

“Where am I going? Am I going this way?” a confused Joe Biden asked as he walked over to people without a face mask! Why isn’t CNN, MSNBC and other fake news reporters calling Biden out for putting people in danger?

Last week, when President Donald Trump reported his COVID-19 diagnosis and was subsequently hospitalized, White House Physician and Navy physician Sean Conley, DO, provided the press with updates on the president’s illness and treatment. The ensuing media spotlight on Dr. Conley resulted in unfortunate mischaracterizations of DOs that appeared, among other outlets, on CNN and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show. Maddow questioned why President Trump’s care is overseen by an “osteopath” rather than an infectious disease specialist or an internist. CNN pundit Gloria Borger implied that, as an “osteopath,” Dr. Conley is not an “actual doctor.” To set the record straight,...

CNN's Jonathan Reiner was back to playing criminal prosecutor on TV today -- even though he's actually a doctor. We caught him last week accusing President Trump of "negligent homicide." On this morning's New Day, Reiner's charge against the president was "criminal endangerment." But somehow it's outrageous that the president would want any doctor treating him to sign a non-disclosure agreement -- as if there weren't leftist networks and newspapers who would salivate at the chance to get nasty leaks. Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Talk about bad timing. In his absurd eagerness to always be spinning in favor of a Democrat (never a Republican) involved in an election campaign, CNN's resident prognosticator Chris Cillizza with a history of often hilarious errors spun himself into a corner on Tuesday. All he had to do was wait a couple of hours and he could have spared himself the embarrassment of portraying the scandal of Democrat candidate for the U.S. Senate from North Carolina, Cal Cunningham, as just a silly sexting scandal when there was already every sign that it was much more than that.

Despite the seismic implications of the president of the US contracting a deadly and highly infectious disease with no cure, the White House is still providing very little basic information about President Donald Trump's coronavirus status. Aside from his positive-test announcement on Friday — which led to him being hospitalized with COVID-19 for three nights — the last time Trump was on the record talking about taking a test was in May, when he said, "I tested positively toward negative." Between Trump's "positively toward negative" disclosure on May 21 and the tweet confirming he had tested positive for COVID-19 on...

The opinion editorial, entitled “America May Need International Intervention” was penned by Peter Beinart, also is a contributor at The Atlantic and Political Commentator for CNN. In over 1,000 words, Beinart makes the case for foreign election interference under the auspices of the notoriously globalist, anti-Trump United Nations, specifically the body’s Human Rights Council. The United Nations Human Rights Council, however, hosts egregious human rights abusers such as China, Somalia, Sudan, Venezuela, and Qatar. Despite this, Beinart tees up his piece insisting “even Democrats may find it hard to imagine, but the “leader of the free world” would benefit from...

CNN boosts Van Jones' "perspective" especially at/after last night's debate between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris. In addition to his anti Trumpism... I wanted to remind this: Pence calls on Van Jones to resign By MARTIN KADY II 09/04/2009 02:47 PM EDT Rep. Mike Pence, the no. 3 Republican in the House, is calling on Obama green jobs czar Van Jones to resign. This sort of thing would usually be laughed off by Democrats -- a conservative Republican telling a Democratic appointee to quit. But the Obama team isn't exactly jumping to back Jones today in wake of revelations that...

Using biased banks to make the absurd claim that Wall Street is warming up to the idea of a “blue wave” in November is like using field mice to claim that the animal kingdom is warming up to the idea of a cheese festival. This is the strategy CNN and MSNBC used in an attempt to fool their viewers into thinking Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s left-wing extremist economic plans are in any way, shape or form good for the U.S. economy. CNN Newsroom and MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle both pushed during their October 6 editions how Goldman Sachs...

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo told viewers he would not play audio of what he described as "propaganda" video footage of President Trump removing his mask on a balcony at the White House on Monday night, prompting criticism of Cuomo primarily from conservative commentators who argued he was being hypocritical after breaking his own quarantine earlier this year. “What a bunch of bulls---," Cuomo said of Trump removing his mask before entering the residence and recording a video posted on social media. "He didn’t just walk in the White House one time with no mask tonight. He had his video...

Fox News host Tucker Carlson aired photos of Chris Cuomo that appeared to show the CNN anchor in public without a mask. According to Carlson, the images of Cuomo were taken over the weekend and showed him at a restaurant with a cigar in hand. The photos are believed to have been taken on Long Island.
