What’s with all the “womanface” being thrown around in 2023? Even if you don’t know what the term means, you’ve probably seen it in action: Confused men who think of themselves as women, and in turn, don exaggerated traditional female attire and behave like women in an over-the-top manner. To those outside the LGBTQ+ rainbow mafia, it’s entirely offensive and no more acceptable than “blackface.” (See Dylan Mulvaney) Regardless of the criticism, countless brands have flocked toward LGBTQ “influencers” to promote their products. In turn, these companies have flipped the metaphorical bird to their customers who oppose wokeism. Each time...

  • How is Ammonium chloride different that mixing ammonia and chlorine?

    08/13/2016 10:53:00 AM PDT · by rey · 33 replies
I know never to mix cleaners and to certainly never mix ammonia and chlorine but many cleaners contain ammonium chloride. Is this not essentially ammonia and chlorine? If not, how does it differ? If it is similar, what is done to it so it doesn't kill the user? I am obviously not a chemist and have merely an nodding acquaintance with the periodic table, so I would ask that your explanations be simplified as much as possible, as Einstein said, "As simple as possible but no simpler." Thanks

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The head of the SC NAACP, Lonnie Randolph, was arrested Friday night at a Five Points dry cleaners after a disagreement with employees. According to the incident report, Columbia police were called to Tripp’s Fine Cleaner at 830 Harden Street around 7:15 p.m. Friday. An employee told officers that Randolph, 63, refused to pay his bill, refused to leave the premises after being asked to do so several times and then began to act erratically. Once Randolph was escorted out of the business by police officers, the employee told officers the manager wanted Randolph banned from the...

As many as 140,000 non-medical staff, including porters and housekeepers, have access to sensitive NHS patient files, it emerged last night. The astonishing lack of privacy protection has been revealed by a Freedom of Information survey. Government guidelines say only staff involved in 'providing and supporting patient care' should have access to confidential information. But trusts are interpreting the rules so widely that administrators, porters and IT staff are all cleared to potentially delve into a person's medical file.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A couple are suing a hospital after their stillborn baby's body was sent with dirty laundry to the cleaners. The Huguley Memorial Medical Center of Fort Worth staff took 19 hours to find the missing body, which was unpreserved and by then had been crushed and disfigured, according to the lawsuit filed Tuesday. Kourtney McGee of Cleburne went to Huguley in July because she was bleeding in her second trimester, then gave birth to Jacob Dwayne Robinson. Staff told McGee and Milburn "Pete" Robinson of Alvarado, the baby's father, that the body would be taken the...

WASHINGTON (June 6) - A customer who believes he was mistreated by a dry cleaner has dropped the pants from his suit. Roy L. Pearson, who filed a $67 million lawsuit against the dry cleaning business that lost his pants, has lowered his demand. Now, he's asking for only $54 million, according to a May 30 court filing in D.C. Superior Court. The District of Columbia administrative law judge first sued Custom Cleaners over a pair of pants that went missing two years ago. He was seeking about $65 million under the D.C. consumer protection act and almost $2 million...
