A 7,610-square-foot, six-level townhouse in Boston’s prestigious Louisburg Square is listed for sale for $20.5 million. The home, located at 17 Louisburg Square, is located next door to the townhome owned by former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry. The property was built in the 1850s and was originally the location of an Episcopal convent and private hospital owned by the Order of St. Margaret. It was subdivided and renovated in 1994.

Police and multiple ambulances were sent Wednesday morning to a Middleton office building on reports of an active shooter in the building, authorities reported. The 911 Communications Center said at about 10:30 a.m. that the shooter was at 1850 Deming Way, which houses companies that include Esker Inc. and WTS Paradigm. State Journal reporter Dean Mosiman said from the scene said there were at least 40 police squad cars and ambulances from multiple jurisdictions outside the building. Police have set up a perimeter around the building, Mosiman reported. More officers were continuing to arrive wearing bulletproof vests around 11 a.m....

A liver transplant recipient was given a public intoxication warning Monday afternoon after he registered a 0.39 percent blood-alcohol level, according to La Crosse police reports. The 34-year-old man was found on a curb at Springbrook Way and Cliffside Drive about 3 p.m., reports stated. He could not stand or walk unassisted when a family member took him home, police noted. He was taken to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center for detoxification.

A Pardeeville man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct Wednesday after allegedly forcing his 7-year-old son to wear a Green Bay Packers jersey during the divisional playoff game last weekend. Matthew Kowald, 36, pleaded no contest Wednesday to disorderly conduct after he was released from the Columbia County Jail. He received a fine of $186. Columbia County District Attorney Jane Kohlwey said there was not enough evidence against Kowald to support felony charges. This is the photo the Chicago Libune chose to run on the front page of the paper this morning. Of all the thousands of photos, the Libune chooses this piece of backslapping to Clinton. A better photo would have been the actual mug shot that the AP has on file. I looked for the photo of Clinton and Parks and I found quite a pool to from which to make my choice. I do not believe this photo was printed innocently. I wonder how many more papers ran this photo.

Wisconsin's Democratic governor thinks it's not fair that tangible items get taxed while downloads, like music, ebooks, software, etc., go completely untaxed. So, he proposes to rectify the situation by having Wisconsin's 5% state sales tax apply to Internet downloads. This is kind of like that famous hoax about how the USPS wants to charge people 5 cents for e-mail messages, except it's for real. What a dumb idea....

MILWAUKEE (AP) U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl has hired a Democratic organizer to begin coordinating his run for re-election in 2006. The Wisconsin Democrat said Tuesday that he hired Michael Teter to start putting the campaign together. Kohl, who turned 70 Monday, announced over the weekend that he is seeking a fourth six-year term in the Senate. The millionaire owner of the Milwaukee Bucks was first elected in 1988 and won re-election in 1994 and 2000. Teter was Wisconsin field director for the Democratic Party's campaign last year.

She pleaded guilty to a drunken-driving charge and said she would comply with the legal requirements related to it, including a $784 fine, license revocation, a drug assessment and any recommendations that result from it.</p>
