The effort showcased an impressive list of black speakers in prominent roles vouching for President Trump and slamming Joe Biden and the Dems. Kim Klacik, a dynamic young Republican woman running for the late Elijah Cummings’ seat in Baltimore, set the tone by declaring: “The Democrats have controlled my city, Charm City, for over 50 years and they have run this beautiful place into the ground. “Abandoned buildings, liquor stores on every corner, drug addicts and guns on the street — that is now the norm in many neighborhoods.” Herschel Walker, the football great, added his personal experience after what...

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Mayor Jack Young urged residents to put down their guns and heed orders to stay home after multiple people were shot Tuesday night amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Young said hospital beds are needed to treat positive COVID-19 patients and not for senseless violence. Seven people were shot Tuesday night in the Madison Park neighborhood, as Baltimore reported its fifth positive coronavirus case Wednesday. “I want to reiterate how completely unacceptable the level of violence is that we have seen recently,” Young said. “We will not stand for mass shootings and an increase in crime.”

At least 52 homicides were been reported throughout the city as of March 2, according to a tally by The Baltimore Sun. The major northeastern city in Maryland of more than 600,000 people is one of...

Moronic liberal "friend" from college sent me a Twitter about a Twitter user comparing Baltimore to Rep. Jim Jordan's (R-OH) district. The Twitter (linked) shows photographs of tents and trash in Jordan's district, comprised of Lima, Northwest Columbus and a few other towns. After a quick search of the demographics and the city government in Jordan's district, I found out that 89% of the population is White, while 5.5& is Black. I also found out that Lima and Columbus are Democrat-run cities with Democrat Mayors. I don't have Twitter, so can someone disseminate this information to this Twitter A**hole? Thanks!

Dave Miceli doesn't know me from a hole in the ground, but he's my new hero. Anyone that can dredge up the guts to teach in Baltimore's public schools automatically becomes a candidate for hero status in my book, especially if said anyone has taught in these schools for 20 years, as Miceli has. But it was his bold, insightful, no-punches-pulled letter to the editors of the July 15 edition of the Baltimore Sun that put Miceli on my hero's list. I'm reprinting that letter in its entirety."How dare you accuse, through implication or otherwise, that the need for 'better...

Two people are arrested in brawl, including parent; 11 students suspended By Julie Bykowicz Sun Staff Originally published April 2, 2004 Woodlawn High School ninth-graders who gathered yesterday for an assembly on anger management instead got an up-close lesson in violence, when a shoving match grew into a melee that led to two arrests - including one student's mother - and 11 suspensions. As students on stage acted out peaceful ways to resolve conflict, one student's mother confronted a group of girls who had been bothering her child, authorities said. Screaming quickly escalated into pushing and hitting, and school officials...
