Hey folks, new member here. As a Christian conservative (with environmental leanings), I *want* to believe in our current president. I want to believe that our current struggle is just. But the President's policies have just been too inconsistent. As a result, I'm beginning to form a picture in my head that seems to properly connect those disparate dots, but the resulting image is very disturbing -- and disillusioning. The Congressman Who Cried Wolf Every red-blooded American has heard of the little boy who cried wolf. It’s a story of a young shepherd who used the people’s fear of wolves to get attention. I’m 22, pretty new to politics, and I am completely disgusted with what I see in the world today. Now I ask you: “What am I missing?” I am confused that there are so many who like the direction our country is headed under it’s new leadership, and I am interested in knowing if there is something that I do not understand.
