CBS crime drama The Good Fight tweeted an image on Friday from a recent episode, entitled, “The One Where Diane Joins the Resistance.” The imaged showed a character pointing to a list of “target words” that included the phrases “Assassinate President Trump” and “Eliminate Mar-a-Lago.” The tweet, which has since been deleted, sparked backlash among Twitter users, many of who reported CBS to the Secret Service. A new CBS show called “The Good Fight” issued a thinly veiled assassination order. They tweeted an image saying “assassinate president trump” and then put out a video rationalizing and justifying political violence. I don’t even know where to begin. The Secret Service needs to visit them immediately. CBS’s National Broadcast License should be revoked immediately and only returned conditionally when this show is off the air, the people in charge are fired and monitoring is put in place to ensure they don’t put out any more incitement to violence.

Individual tax refunds this year have been only slightly smaller than last year, but those shortfalls are adding up. At the end of last month, the amount of money the government refunded was $6 billion below this time last year, according to IRS figures. As of March 29, the Treasury had issued 71.8 million refunds. This time a year ago it had issued 73.4 million. So while the average refund, at $2,873, is only $20 less than it was last year, about 1.6 million fewer people are getting refunds, the IRS said. The longtime manager the CBS Employees Federal Credit Union has been arrested and charged with embezzling more than $40 million from his employer over the past 20 years. Edward Rostohar faces felony counts of bank fraud and aggravated identity theft. In conjunction with the arrest, the National Credit Union Administration — a federal agency that regulates credit unions — announced Friday that it has liquidated the CBS Employees Federal Credit Union and shut down its operations. University Credit Union immediately assumed CBS Employees’ assets.

(AP) — Authorities arrested a man suspected of shooting the security guard of a news crew that was robbed while covering the Oakland teachers strike, according to a statement by the CBS affiliate.
