CANTON — Four people protested outside City Hall on Monday, calling attention to the behavior of a police officer who berated a Brewster man during a recent traffic stop involving a concealed carry gun permit holder. Deborah Bartlett, the ex-wife of William Bartlett, led the protest, holding two signs along Cleveland Avenue SW, including one showing the image of an American flag and the words: “Justice will prevail.” The protest also was in support of the state’s concealed weapon law, she said.
