CANTON
Four people protested outside City Hall on Monday, calling attention to the behavior of a police officer who berated a Brewster man during a recent traffic stop involving a concealed carry gun permit holder.
Deborah Bartlett, the ex-wife of William Bartlett, led the protest, holding two signs along Cleveland Avenue SW, including one showing the image of an American flag and the words: Justice will prevail.
The protest also was in support of the states concealed weapon law, she said.
The Bartletts teenage son was among the protesters, as was a friend of Deborah Bartlett and another relative.
The traffic stop involving William Bartlett has been well publicized after Ohioans for Concealed Carry posted the police car video of the June 8 stop on the Internet.
In the video, Harless remarks that he should have executed William Bartlett for being stupid and uses profane language after learning minutes into the traffic stop that Bartlett had a weapon with him.
The video went viral and has had nearly 700,000 views on YouTube.
The Police Departments internal affairs division is conducting the investigation into the traffic stop and Harless behavior.

I got a divorce without using a lawyer and it didn't work out. We ended up remarried and have spent the last 34 years together. The lesson is if you want a good divorce that will last, get a lawyer. ;o)
