Witnessing Genocide Conference

He will be one day before the Witnessing Genocide Conference and we are hoping that we have a large turnout for him. All Eugeneans from Oregon who subscribe to this list are encouraged to get the word out. I am hoping that he speaks at the Longhouse at the University of Washington, and am looking for some community sponsorship from area churches and from student groups on campus. Mr. Elich already committed to the date, so I'm running around trying to find a venue. I know this is a bit backward, but I'm confident with God's help that something within the next week will come through, and I will keep everyone here posted.

It is very hard to get people to come to these events, but I feel somewhat encouraged lately. Prayers are requested and any help offered will be greatly appreciated.

The compunction in your heart is truly heart warming, and perhaps your statement is a beginning of the turning of the tide; where the true understanding of what is happening to the Orthodox in Serbia is going to come to light. The Lord does not leave his elected to be slandered and you are the beginning of those, once blinded, who are beginning to see the light. Please turn this understanding into action, into active support for the Serbian Peoples. Our D's and R's may be behind this effort to destroy the Serbian peoples but the American citizenry, can use their God-given free will to express another approach to this World crisis.

Although we've reached the 50,000 goal, we (a Serb friend in Seattle who has also been a great support is distributing petition to friends and family here and abroad) decided we wanted to continue to add names to it, in order that the pressure of the voice of the people continues to grow. The voice is predominantly Serbian, we should match those numbers with Americans who hearts are being touched by God to see clearly into this issue. We have sent the petition with 50,000 signatures and are planning to send it again when it reaches 100,000. With this support the Serbian people will see that American citizenry is in support of them, in the same spirit that the Serbian citizenry was an ally to us in WWII.

We are trying to counter the disinformation that the media continues to spew in support of this atrocity against the Serbian peoples. Word of Mouth is the only way now to counter it, and while we have freedom of the internet, we should use this medium to spread Truth.

I am so glad to see your testimony...for some time I was very worried if the citizens of the United States would ever see past the fog.

We must continue the pressure on Washington and the U.N. to sink help Serbian government to sink Ahtisaari's plan.

To all whose hearts are with the Serbian peoples concerning Kosovo: Here is a direct action request by the Serbian Caucus in Washington, D.C. Serbian Unity Congress and Congressional Serbian Caucas is asking every Serbian American to write a letter to their representative encouraging them not to support independence of Kosovo either with H.RES 36, or by circumventing Security Council of the U.N. Even if you are not Serbian American, but you are Christian and value our Christian derived democratic ideals and values, and are ashamed of the missteps we have made in the past concerning civil rights of peoples and sovereign rights of countries we urge you to write your senators and representatives urging them to Not support Independence of Kosovo. Currently the United States is in support of independence at the Demand of Muslim backed Insurgents from Iran, from Saudi Arabia and other areas in the Middle East, the same people we are supposedly fighting in the MiddleEast.
