thanks for pointing that out to me. I have now included some text at the top of the Post informing of its origin with a link back to their site, a link to the Post, and also to the Chart itself, and I have added a ‘trackback’ to their Post. Again, many thanks for pointing out the origin.
Why she is proposing this now is that she hopes against hope that it can actually be forced through into legislation with the aid of The Australian Greens Party in the Senate, who are in fact the main drivers of this legislation. The hope is she can force it through now, even though it is roundly detested by everyone, and then the hope is that come the next election in three years time, the people will have gotten used to it and forgotten it. Fat chance. especially when it’s going to drive up the cost of electricity by so much.
This announcement has been poison, both for her as leader, and for her Government, and the polls have them in free fall at the moment.
It’s going to be touch and go if it does get up.
While some talk here is about Brisbane, Cyclone Yasi is expected to make landfall near Cairns, which is around 1,100 miles to the North of Brisbane.
Brisbane will have no problems whatsoever from this Storm, even with the magnitude it is.
