Ashleigh Merchant—the attorney who led the effort to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump and his allies—is wading into another major RICO case prosecuted by Willis' office. Merchant made an unexpected appearance at the Fulton County Courthouse on Monday afternoon to defend another Atlanta-based attorney who, in a shocking twist, was arrested while in court.

i have a recurring surmise that melania could potentially be a much bigger political asset to DJT in the 2024 presidential election than she currently appears to be (log cabin republicans? how many of those are there btw??). before dismissing it altogether, give it a chance. melania checks two or three big boxes that her husband does not-- consider: women, immigrants, catholics. melania also provide an eastern european perspective which might even be deployed against the ukranian war funding. trump's achilles heel if he has one (and discounting ever present massive vote fraud, which is beyond this scope) is the...

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today it filed a Georgia Open Records Act lawsuit against District Attorney Fani Willis and Fulton County, Georgia, for records of any communication Willis and the county had with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6 Committee (Judicial Watch Inc. v. Fani Willis et al. (No. 24-CV-002805)).

Why did judge McAfee reprimand DA Fani Willis during her testimony? What's wrong with Willis' statements? Why do they seem unclear and stalling? To answer these questions, this in-depth language analysis looks at heated and revealing excerpts from Willis' testimony to the Fulton County court. In these excerpts, Willis is questioned about whether people in her office knew about her relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade. The analysis uses concepts such as 'distancing language' and 'weak denials' to find out how Willis' word choice affects the reliability of her testimony. This video has an educational purpose. You can use many of...

[...] Confiscated property held by the Fulton County DA's office includes, for example, $150,000 in cash and $1 million worth of jewelry seized from the rapper Young Thug when he was arrested in May 2022 on organized crime charges. Paying lawyers from the forfeited property account would be inappropriate for any district attorney's office. In admitting the clerical error, the spokesman included an email from Willis's chief operation officer, who noted that the expenses document prepared by the Fulton County government "incorrectly states that Invoices 9, 10 and 11 were paid out of a forfeiture account." The chief operating officer...

Fani Willis now has a Republican challenger in the race for Fulton County District Attorney. Courtney Kramer is an Alpharetta attorney and former intern in the Trump White House. She told Channel 2′s Richard Elliot that Willis was wrong in prosecuting the former president. Channel 2 Action News was at the State Capitol Friday as Kramer qualified to run against Willis. “I think the moment she decided to indict President Trump and 19 other defendants was the moment I said I had had enough,” Kramer said.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was saved from public scrutiny at the last minute after a Board of Ethics meeting was canceled the morning of the scheduled event. Thursday's special meeting was initially scheduled to hear two complaints brought against Willis. The ethics board was expected to discuss two complaints brought by two Fulton County residents, Gregory Mantell and Steven Kramer, at 10 a.m. The meeting was open to the public at the Fulton County Government Center.

i am trying to get a feel for the USA economy and USA stocks through to nov-dec 2024. what is the best prognosis? and why? what is the worst prognosis? and why? allow me to take a swag at both. the best would be that QE is re-instituted or continued. this however gets into the definition of "best." best in the longer term would involve reducing welfare which we all know is difficult to touch politically. i think we can do at least one more year of federal funding through issuing more debt although the current US govt bonds are...

I performed what appeared to be a normal reboot for a normal upgrade. Now I am blocked by the need for a bitlocker password. I do not recall ever messing with bitlocker. Is there a flowchart? I got as far as a system32 Cmv.exe prompt (not very far). Thanks!

If you want to conspire with someone, it’s advisable to have a cut out. If it is someone new, you need to test the cut out to verify that there is not a man in the middle. One way to verify is to create and use a nonsense browser as cast. Eg “the fish is red.” Biden’s speeches are chock full of nonsense phrases. One that comes to mind is “dog faced pony soldiers.” This is a mishmash of multiple phrases possibly from a John Wayne movie (“she wore a yellow ribbon”) that almost no one today remembers. Bidens usage...

hypothetically, a driver gets flashed by an automated speed trap at a california intersection, running a green light. he (or she or they) is(are) wearing a baseball hat and dark sunglasses. ho.e/she/they have facial hair which did not show in their last driver's license photo, years ago. the usual drill (so i have learned in a different california county) is that -- in theory-- the automated incident notice first goes to a reviewing human police officer. the police officer looks at the incident photos and tries to make a facial match with the registered owner. if the officer succeeds, and...

the federal social security system is a lie. you can find out about how it is bankrupt by 2030 any day of the week by just picking up a newspaper and reading the headlines. paying a vendor who has lied about his or her or its product is called STEALING. It is prohibited by social convention (such as the 8th commandment, the koran, verse 5:38, and furtum in Roman common law) and so broadly understood to be morally wrong. so why should people be required to stand by and allow their social security to be stolen from them in the...

Former Democrat mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel famously said to never let a serious crisis go to waste. Several journalists gave President Biden the same advice for his upcoming State of the Union address Tuesday, urging him to use Russia invading Ukraine to his advantage. New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore cut to the chase with his article entitled, "Did Putin accidentally reboot Biden’s presidency?"

i am noticing what appear to be multiple 2022 D USA type 2 one ounce gold eagle milled edge defects. In each coin that I have recently seen, there is one milled edge "tooth" that is entirely missing. It is as if the milled tooth was shaved off. Using a gear analogy, one gear tooth would be missing. If anyone else is out there and has 2022 USA one ounce gold eagles, I would be curious to learn if they also have a missing milled tooth. I have never seen such an edge on a coin before, with USA coins...

why are so many women evolutionarily inclined to be liberal/socialist/communist/fascist? my observation is that many more women than men seem to fit these categories, which imho differ only in degree. my own conjecture: women have been evolved to submit to the force and power of authority. in prehistory, women, having generally less strength and less weight than men, have taken follower social status as the primary way in which both they and their offspring maximize their survival and reproduction chances. the us constitution upholds minimal government. minimal government is antithetical to maximum force and maximum power. thus, the us constitution...
