A liberal protester targeting Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears with a racist sign has gone viral and caused confusion over her intentions. Earle-Sears, the Republican nominee in the 2025 Virginia gubernatorial election, attended an Arlington County School Board meeting where she spoke out against a policy that allows transgender students to use girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms. The meeting occurred as a result of a threat by the Department of Education to cut off federal funding from the school district over its bathroom policy. A transgender rights rally was held outside the meeting in support of the school district’s policy....

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals filed a state lawsuit Tuesday in New York against the American Kennel Club in hope of forcing the influential group to ditch breeding standards that PETA alleged lead to "deformed, unhealthy" canines. PETA specifically targeted some of the most popular breeds of man's best friend — bulldogs, French bulldogs, pugs, dachshunds and the Chinese shar-pei. Plaintiffs asked Manhattan Supreme Court to stop the AKC from backing these standards that alleged "cause deformities, great suffering and premature death" to these animals. The AKC said that it did not "create breed standards" and that it...

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch's desired plan for succession would have left oldest son Lachlan in control of Fox News and News Corp. But a recent court ruling and family in-fighting will likely leave his news empire in control of his left-leaning children who have vowed to radically change the network, according to press reports out last week. Last year a Nevada court ruled the 93-year-old billionaire could not change his family trust after Murdoch sought to give his elder son, Lachlan, 52, control over his public companies. Lachlan is a Republican who is said to hold his father's conservative views....

Lefty New York City Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed Monday that Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is stupid during a fiery screed that drew mockery from her critics. “This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed,” Ocasio-Cortez, 35, said during an Instagram Live video session. “This dude is not smart, and the danger in the lack of intelligence and the lack of expertise that Elon has, I mean, this guy is one of the most morally vacant but also just least knowledgeable about these systems that we know of,” she...

The implementation of vaccine mandates at one of the largest institutions in the red state of Texas has raised concerns over the diminishing state of health freedom while a law that would provide Texans with vaccine choice remains stalled by lawmakers. The Baylor College of Medicine (BCM), a medical school and research center in Houston, Texas, announced last week that it will mandate the latest COVID booster shot for its students, faculty, and employees. “An updated Covid vaccine has been approved by the FDA and is now available," the Sept. 28 statement from the school reads. An opinion column in a major San Francisco newspaper tied American drivers’ frustration with cyclists to "racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia." The piece, published by University of California, San Francisco professor Ruth Malone this week in the San Francisco Chronicle warned readers that the annoyance they may feel at sharing roads with bicyclists during their commutes comes from the same place that racial hatred and other major societal stigmas come from. It also argued that cyclists’ push for equal status on the road as drivers is similar to gays coming out of the closet, and women’s suffrage. The column began...

Sports Illustrated came under fire on Monday for using Kim Petras, a transgender female pop star, as one of its cover models for the Swimsuit Edition. It was Petras’ first time on the cover of the Swimsuit Edition. Petras joined Martha Stewart, Megan Fox and Brooks Nader as the other cover models for this year’s magazine. "There is no theme [to this year’s issue]—rather, there is a vision, a sentiment, a hope that women can live in a world where they feel no limitations, internally or externally," SI Swimsuit Editor-in-Chief MJ Day said. "But the absence of a theme is...

The rising crime rate in Los Angeles is a hot-button issue in this year’s race for Los Angeles mayor. And the issue just hit closer to home for one candidate. Democratic Congresswoman Karen Bass said Saturday that her home was burglarized. “Last night, I came home and discovered that my house had been broken into and burglarized,” the Bass campaign said in a statement. “LAPD was called, and I appreciate their assistance. At this time, it appears that only two firearms, despite being safely and securely stored, were stolen. Cash, electronics and other valuables were not. It’s unnerving and, unfortunately,...

“Our economy had zero percent inflation in the month of July. Zero percent," President Joe Biden boasted Wednesday, citing a lesser-used Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) measure, rather than the more commonly used statistic, which shows inflation actually jumped 8.5%. Pres. Biden led off a press event with the claim: "Before I begin today, I want to say a word about the news that came out relative to the economy. Actually, I just want to say a number: zero. Today, we received news our economy had zero percent inflation in the month of July. Zero percent. “Here’s what that means:...

The McPlant is a plant-based burger co-developed with the company Beyond Meat, according to the McDonald’s website. “It’s sizzled on a flat iron grill, then topped with slivered onions, tangy pickles, crisp shredded lettuce, Roma tomato slices, ketchup, mustard, mayo and a slice of melty American cheese on a toasted sesame seed bun. There are 510 calories in the McPlant,” the site read. CNBC reported on...

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, after another violent weekend in which there were more than 70 shootings on her city's streets, has found a new scapegoat to dodge blame for the chaos that befalls her city at some level each weekend despite strict gun laws and an alleged commitment to law and order: the public discourse. Specifically, according to remarks Mayor Lightfoot made on Tuesday, "the toxicity in our public discourse is a thing that I think we should all be concerned about." Ah, well, if it's non-toxic public discourse Mayor Lightfoot wants to encourage, she should probably start with herself...

Stephen Curry swished a deep three-pointer midway through the third quarter, backpedaled down the court and allowed himself a quick indulgence. As the Boston Celtics called a timeout to gather themselves, the Golden State Warriors star turned to the sideline and pointed at his right ring finger. There were 18 minutes left, but Curry was sure his fourth championship was already in hand. The Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics, 103-90, in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, completing an exhilarating comeback from a 2-1 series deficit to complete a 16-6 run through the playoffs to win their...

Disney is going all-out in joining leftists’ June celebration of Pride Month, making same-sex themes central to a new “Toy Story” feature film spin-off and adding more than 100 hours of LGBTQ titles to family-targeted streamer Disney Plus. After advance screenings, critics say animated space adventure “Lightyear” — opening in theaters on June 17 — “takes queer representation to infinity and beyond,” to quote USA Today, highlighting that a lesbian couple “at one point [greets] each other with a kiss on the lips.” Following backlash over Disney creative executives discussing their ongoing efforts at “queering” children’s entertainment, it seems Disney...

A teammate of controversial transgender swimmer Lia Thomas said University of Pennsylvania officials warned women swimmers they'd face consequences for speaking out against the presence of Thomas — a biological male who identifies as female — on the women's swim team. “They’ve made it pretty clear if you speak up about it, your life will be over in some way, you’ll be blasted all over the Internet as a transphobe … you’ll never be able to get a job,” the teammate told Matt Walsh as part of his just-released "What Is a Woman?" documentary, according to the Daily Wire.

Left-wing critics are demanding that HBO “cancel” Bill Maher after accusing the HBO “Real Time” host of delivering an anti-transgender monologue on last Friday’s show. David Kilmnick, who heads the nonprofit LGBT Network, wrote an article in Advocate magazine on Wednesday titled: “Bill Maher Has Gone Too Far With Anti-LGBTQ+ Comments.” Maher was blasted for saying that “we’re literally experimenting on children” by providing them with puberty blockers and other treatments aimed at facilitating gender transitions. He also said that transitioning was becoming “trendy.” Maher hit out at Chase Strangio, a lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union, who cheered...
