A liberal protester targeting Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears with a racist sign has gone viral and caused confusion over her intentions.
Earle-Sears, the Republican nominee in the 2025 Virginia gubernatorial election, attended an Arlington County School Board meeting where she spoke out against a policy that allows transgender students to use girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms.
The meeting occurred as a result of a threat by the Department of Education to cut off federal funding from the school district over its bathroom policy.
A transgender rights rally was held outside the meeting in support of the school district’s policy.
One of the protesters, an unidentified elderly liberal white woman, could be seen holding a sign targeting Earle-Sears by comparing black Americans being forced to use water fountains to the transgender bathroom debate.
‘Hey Winsome, if trans can’t share your bathroom, then Blacks can’t share my water fountain,’ the sign reads.
As the picture - captured by Virginia journalist Brandon Jarvis - went viral. And statements from Virginia leaders in both parties rushed to condemn the protester.
‘I’m disgusted, but not surprised. This is the “tolerant” left Abigail Spanberger defends. I’m the sitting Lieutenant Governor, second in command in the former capital of the confederate states,’ Earle-Sears told the Daily Mail in a statement, referencing her Democratic opponent in this November's general election.

Sears was on Newsmax a few minutes ago. She’s impressive, IMO, although I don’t know everything about her.
I used to think that what leftists say about white people is just offensive nonsense, but the more I’ve observed woke left-wing elitist “white saviors,” the more I realize that they are actually correct—it’s just that they themselves are the privileged, entitled, oppressive, bigoted white people they are talking about, rather than white people in general. Great job lefties! You’ve convinced me you are (kind of) right.
NO, she is not impressive. Some people think that because they lower their standard subconsciously for blacks. She is one in a long line of Republican curiosities who will lose yet another election.
There’s a clip showing a fellow lib telling here they’ve had “negative” coverage on TV about her sign and she just shrugs.
They only seem to care or apologize after they get caught.

I’m sure you’ve seen the wall to wall positive coverage over these months with the MSM gushing over the prospect of a state electing a black female governor, right? Just like for Stacey Abrams, right? And wall to wall coverage over these racist attacks against her, right?

Spamburger will be hard to beat in Northern Virginia because she’s the Alpha Karen, and all the women like this one are her minions.
Sears needs to hit hard at Dim men and minorities here in the DC suburbs to win the state. It doesn’t help that the VAGOPe is next to useless, with Spamburger running 4-5 ads for every one for Sears.

I agree that there’s a history of Pubbies getting overexcited about marginal black candidates on their side, but I don’t see her as in that mold.
White liberal ‘elites’ think they’re so superior to others that THEY represent the black community. And other minorities. This might have something to do with why the group that voted in the highest percentage for President Trump was Native American Indians... Hispanics are walking away from white liberal elites too. The arrogance of these elites is so insulting ... to everyone.
