  • Press Coordinates Question to Ask Romney (At what point does this idiocy become a crime?)

  • George Will is missing an important piece of logic in his analysis of Roberts decision.

I should first add that it is just not George Will making this mistake, and that others have pointed out the legal inconsistency. Justice Roberts is asserting that Congress has the authority to tax, and of course this is true. Roberts and the left side of the court point out the congress passes taxes all the time on your phone bill, driving a car, etc. But this is not a tax on any activity, it is a tax on a lack of activity. A precise lack of activity to be sure, but a lack of activity. The ramifications for this...
  • Mystery GOP Candidate?

Mystery GOP candidate for 2012. It's really new, only a couple of tweets so far, but this one caught my eye. Fed considering QE3. If Ben were a man of his word he would return that money (easing) to its rightful owners. All who had jobs 2000-2008.
  • Rand Paul's budget may be our last best hope.

en. Rand Paul, Republican from Kentucky, had a press conference scheduled for today unveiling his plans for a five-year path to a balanced budget. - Reduces spending by nearly $4 trillion relative to the President's budget - Achieves a $19 billion surplus in FY2016 - Brings all non-military discretionary spending back to FY2008 levels - Requires the process of entitlement reform, including Social Security and Medicare, with final implementation by FY2016 - Does not change Social Security or Medicare benefits - Block-grants Medicaid, SCHIP, foods stamps, and child nutrition · Provides the President's request for war funding - Reduces military...

Scott Walker, Kasich and others are presenting a very logical argument about budgets, costs and taxes. That's great and needed. But they are slowly losing moderates and independents by not pointing out that those of us who pay taxes, work and don't have a government union job are footing the bill for all of these benefits and high salaries. This really is the government bureaucrats against the people who pay the taxes! The teachers, and other government unions want the right to continue to demand money from the rest of us. The GOP and independents who are fighting these exorbitant...

The show was not only a liberal hit piece, they had some of the dumbest liberals in America as "specialist". This idiot economist from MIT, Simon Johnson, actually blamed Ronald Reagan for the current deficits and said that the economy got much worse under Reagan. One wonders how these people get this stupid so early in life. I suppose one of his grants was cut in the 80s and he figured life must have been hard for everyone. Anyway, don't waste your time. The hit pieces are sometimes ok, I get a little bias and can live with it. This...

I've been active on this for awhile. It's quite a bit of fun but there aren't many people active. The deal is you run a virtual campaign for president. If you win you get $10,000. Don't know why it's not more popular, but if you go sign up and support my campaign (that's how you get in to weekly runoffs).

I just like this site, lot of good debate and now that you can run as a tea party candidate it will be interesting to see what happens. It's generally a middle of the road kind of site, split about even between dems and republicans with a healthy dose of independents. The premise is you run a virtual campaign for president of the USA>
  • Los Angeles boycotting Arizona. Maybe we should just boycott Hollywood for a few months.

With all of the news about boycotts of Arizona it occurs to me that the ones boycotting are chiefly in the entertainment business. Baseball, Basketball, the Hollywood crowd, etc. etc. Maybe if in May, June and July we didn't go to any movies or any professional athletic events they would get the picture. Unemployment is still at 10% and the cost of illegals is constantly being paid for by the middle class. The cost of education, health care and police protection all rise and are all supported by us, the "little people". But we the masses also support the movie...
  • Ten reasons the health care reform bill should not pass.

The health care reform bill is scheduled for a vote tomorrow. All indications are that the bill will pass. There are hundreds of reasons this is a bad bill and will destroy the lives of many Americans. I am attempting to expose just a few of the most egregious. The bottom line is this, and it is not debatable. There is simply no rational way for this bill to work. It cannot logically lower costs, and it cannot exist without lowering the quality of health care. The person who tells you otherwise is dishonest, or foolish. The math simply does...

Increasing terrorist threats, global warming, health care, or mounting deficits and debt. We hear the constant drumbeat from the right and left everyday. If we take the politics out of the equation, and rely on history, which of these are most likely to cause widespread chaos, and even destruction in the United States? The answers may surprise you.

Candidate Rank is an algorithm created to determine how well you campaign and is derived from real world politics. To play them game or find out all of the rules go to http://www.u4prez.com/howtoplay.aspx

A Democrat, and independent liberal have won the last two elections at U4prez. This time a Republican is ahead. The voting goes all week and you have to register with a valid email to vote. This is quite a change as this is the first "virtual candidate for president" to possibly win this yearly contest.
  • This is not a recession or another Great Depression, it is the beginning of The Great Collapse

The current economic crisis is considered a recession, on the verge of depression. The reality is that we are not entering another great depression and the more proper term is "The Great Collapse". What has happened in the past, usually will happen in the future. I approach this problem not with the fuzzy mathematics of the economist but with the certainty and empirical evidence of the historian. Recessions and Depressions are trying times for the citizens of a nation. Collapses are a completely different situation. An economic collapse is followed by exponential increases in misery. The more comfortable the population...

The party GOP at a national level is searching for leadership. We, the grass roots of the party, will provide that leadership. This blog will reflect not just my ideas, but more importantly the ideas and views of the grass roots. While there may be differences among us, they are not so divisive as to cause us to waver in our support for candidates and leaders who stray from the path of monetary responsibility and fiscal conservatism. Here are the answers to a few questions you may have. 1. What will this blog accomplish? 2. Why I am assuming the...

Something big is brewing over at Foxnews. Glenn Beck has been foreshadowing a big story all week. Tonight he really pushed the envelope suggesting that it is so big, we won't be talking about health care reform tomorrow. This is bold. President Obama is addressing a joint session of congress tonight on the issue of health care. For Beck to suggest it won't even be the big topic tomorrow indicates he is sitting on a mighty big story.

In breaking news today, we are starting to get a taste of how Democrats are going to penalize you if you don't buy health insurance. Sen. Baucus is proposing fining American families up to $3,800 for not buying health insurance. After the Democrat healthcare plan passes, it may become cheaper to renounce your citizenship and live here as an illegal alien. Of course, Republicans can't really make too much noise, since they almost put Mitt Romney forward as their Presidential candidate. The only difference between Romney's healthcare plan in Massachusetts and Baucus' plan is that Romney's didn't violate the Federal...
